We're a fast-growing (but lean!) DTC apparel brand with a high-performing team and a strong creative pipeline. We run paid media across Google, Meta, TikTok, and other platforms, and we're looking for a sharp Google Ads specialist to own our search and shopping campaigns. The Opportunity We're looking for a Google Ads media buyer to take over day-to-day management of our Google Ads account. You will be our go-to Google expert -- responsible for optimizing spend, refreshing creative assets, and hitting ROAS targets. This is a long-term freelancer engagement with consistent monthly work. **What You'll Manage** - Campaign optimization: PMax, branded search, non-brand search, shopping, and brand video campaigns - Budget pacing and reallocation across campaign types (current total daily budget: $150-200/day) - Creative asset refreshes: updating image extensions, headlines, sitelinks, and video assets with new creative from our content team - Performance monitoring: tracking ROAS, CPA, CVR, and conversion volume using third-party attribution as our primary benchmark - Google Ads / GA4 / GTM hygiene: ensuring tags fire correctly, conversion tracking is accurate, and data flows properly - Regular testing: launching new assets, copy variations, and audience signals; pausing underperformers quickly - Clear reporting: weekly updates on performance, budget pacing, and what you're testing next Our Tech Stack - Shopify - Google Ads, Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager - Triple Whale (attribution / ROAS reporting) - Google Workspace for communication and reporting What We're Looking For - 2+ years hands-on Google Ads experience for DTC e-commerce brands, preferably with women's apparel - Proven track record managing PMax and shopping campaigns profitably - Comfortable with $3K-$6K/month ad budgets and accountable for ROAS targets - Experience with Triple Whale, Northbeam, or similar third-party attribution tools - Strong eye for creative performance: you know what ad imagery and headlines convert - Detail-oriented about asset hygiene: you audit old ads, extensions, and landing pages regularly - Excellent written communication: you report proactively, flag issues early, and keep the team in the loop - Bonus: experience with swimwear and intimates, or female-focused DTC brands Engagement & Rate Structure We operate on a seasonal rate model given our category. We'd look for a freelancer who would be comfortable proposing a flat-rate retainer for in-season + off-season. In-season = January - July, off-season = August - December. We expect 8-15 hours/month during peak season and 4-8 hours/month during off-season. We're open to a 6-month initial commitment with a performance review at month 3.
