Google Ads Specialist – Home Services Marketing Lead Gen (Base + Bonus Per Qualified Lead)
Worldwide
We're a home services/remodeling marketing business looking for a Google Ads specialist who can actually move the needle on qualified leads — not just spend budget and send a screenshot report. This is a paid, ongoing part-time role: $10/hr base, 4–8 hrs/week, managing one account to start — plus a bonus for every qualified lead your work generates. If you're good, this grows: more hours, more accounts, and a path to a long-term role as results prove out. We are not looking for ecommerce or brand-awareness experience. We need someone who lives in local search intent, call/form tracking, and lead quality — not just clicks and impressions. What You'll Actually Be Doing - Auditing and restructuring an existing Google Search campaign for a home services client - Reviewing search term reports weekly and trimming wasted spend - Validating that conversion tracking (calls, form fills) is actually accurate — not just installed - Making practical, explainable recommendations — no jargon, no vague "optimizing" updates - Flagging landing page or offer issues that are costing us leads, even if it's outside your lane - Reporting performance in plain English, weekly or biweekly Compensation - $10/hr base for account management and reporting time - Bonus per qualified lead generated (call or form fill meeting an agreed definition — we'll align on this before you start, and it'll be written down, not left vague) - Bonus structure and hours grow as results and trust build — this can become a long-term, multi-account role You're a Strong Fit If You Have - Hands-on Google Search campaign experience for service-based, local lead-gen businesses (roofing, HVAC, remodeling, solar, cabinets, builders, or similar) — not just ecommerce - Working knowledge of GA4, GTM, Google Ads conversion tracking, and call tracking (CallRail or similar) - A track record of actually lowering CPL or improving lead quality — not just managing spend - Clear, confident written English and the ability to explain performance without hiding behind jargon - Experience with US-based clients and US search behavior To Apply, Please Include: 1. A specific example of a lead-gen account you managed — business type, monthly budget, and what changed (CPL, lead volume, or lead quality) from when you took it over to a defined point later 2. A short answer (3–5 sentences) to this scenario: A roofing client is spending $3,000/month on Search. Their CPL just doubled month-over-month with no bidding or budget changes on your end. Walk me through the first three things you'd check. 3. Your typical client industries and monthly budget ranges managed 4. Your strongest and weakest campaign types Note: Applications that don't answer the scenario question in #2 directly will not be considered — we're looking for how you think, not a copy-pasted pitch.
