German fluency is strongly preferred and will be a major selection criterion. This is intended to become a long-term collaboration across multiple client accounts, not a one-time project. We are NOT looking for a general digital marketer or SEO all-rounder. We want someone who specializes in local search, Google Business Profiles, Google Maps, Search Console, and modern AI-driven search visibility — and actively stays on top of changes in the industry. What You’ll Be Responsible For Your work may include: Google Business Profile audits & optimization Google Maps / Local Pack ranking improvements Categories, services, products & attributes optimization GBP content optimization Review strategy & reputation signals NAP consistency Local citations Duplicate listing & profile issue resolution Local keyword research Competitor analysis Local on-page SEO Location & service landing page optimization Google Search Console analysis Indexing & crawling issues Technical SEO issues affecting local visibility Tracking & reporting Developing prioritized action plans to improve rankings, leads, calls and inquiries We don't just want someone who can identify problems. We want someone who knows what to do next. AI Search Visibility / GEO Our clients increasingly care about visibility beyond traditional Google search. You should understand — or be actively working on — how businesses can increase their visibility across AI-driven search and answer engines, including: Google AI Overviews / AI Mode ChatGPT Search Perplexity Bing / Copilot Entity & brand signals Structured data / Schema Authority & trust signals Content optimization for AI discovery We are NOT interested in someone claiming they have “cracked the AI algorithm.” We want someone who understands how to test, measure, document and improve visibility based on real data and evidence.
