Upwork Project: Google Workspace Automation – Duplicate Google Forms & Response Sheets Project Overview I am looking for an experienced Google Workspace / Google Apps Script developer to automate a repetitive administrative process that I currently perform every six months. I maintain approximately 20 Google Forms, each connected to its own Google Sheets response spreadsheet. The forms themselves remain the same each cycle. I simply need a fresh copy of each form and response spreadsheet for the next review period. I would like this process to become a one-click (or very simple) workflow. Current Process Every six months I manually: Duplicate approximately 20 Google Forms Create new response spreadsheets (or duplicate existing templates, if appropriate) Connect each copied Google Form to the correct new response spreadsheet Rename all files Place everything into the appropriate Google Drive folder Verify each form submits responses to the correct spreadsheet This manual process is repetitive and time-consuming. Desired Solution Create a Google Apps Script (or another Google Workspace-based solution) that automates this process. At minimum, the solution should: Prompt me for the review period (example: "Spring 2027", "2027 H1", etc.) Create a new folder for that review period Copy all Google Forms from a designated master folder Create and/or copy the associated Google Sheets Connect every copied Form to the correct copied Sheet Rename all Forms and Sheets using a consistent naming convention Place everything into the new folder automatically Verify the links are correct Nice-to-Have Features These are optional but preferred: Create an index spreadsheet listing: Form name Link to Google Form Link to response spreadsheet Ability to easily add or remove Forms in the future Configuration stored in one place rather than hard-coded Clean, well-documented code Simple instructions so I can maintain the system myself Technical Requirements Google Apps Script experience Strong experience with Google Forms API and Google Sheets Google Drive automation Google Workspace best practices Clear documentation Deliverables Please provide: Working automation Installation/setup instructions Documentation explaining how to use it Source code Brief walkthrough (video or written instructions are fine) Ideal Candidate I'm looking for someone who: Has completed similar Google Workspace automation projects Communicates clearly Writes clean, maintainable code Can make recommendations if there is a better way to structure this workflow Please include examples of similar Google Apps Script or Google Workspace automation projects you've completed.
