Graphic Designer Needed for Premium Snail Mail Membership + Print Design System
Worldwide
I am launching **Show Up Mail Club™**, a monthly physical mail membership for women centered around the message: **Show Up for Yourself™** I’m looking for a talented graphic designer to help develop the visual system and design the first collection of printed materials. This is **not a stationery subscription** and I do not want it to look like a typical self-help workbook or coaching program. The goal is to create an experience that feels like receiving beautiful, thoughtful mail from a friend — personal, warm, tactile, meaningful, and something you want to keep. ## THE FIRST PROJECT: LAST 90 The first collection is a special 3-month experience running October through December called **Last 90**. The monthly themes are: **October — THE PROMISE** Make one promise to yourself and choose one move that represents showing up for yourself. **November — THE PROOF** Keep showing up. Come back when you don't. Begin seeing the proof that you can trust yourself. **December — THE EVIDENCE** Look back at what changed and recognize the evidence of how you showed up for yourself. We will begin by designing the **October collection**. If we work well together, I would like the designer to continue with November, December, and potentially the ongoing monthly Show Up Mail Club. ## OCTOBER DELIVERABLES The October physical envelope will include approximately: **1. Rachel's Letter — “The Promise”** A multi-page personal, story-driven letter. This is the centerpiece of the experience and needs excellent editorial typography and readability. **2. One Move Card** A writable card helping the member choose the one promise and move she wants to make for herself. **3. One Reflection Card** A simple reflection prompt with writing space. **4. One Truth Card** A small keepsake card featuring a short statement that can be displayed on a mirror, desk, journal, nightstand, etc. **5. One Reminder Sticker** A small matte vinyl sticker featuring the month's reminder. October's reminder is: **Keep your word to you.** **6. Last 90 Journey Map** A 5 × 7 inch, double-sided card mapping the complete 12-week journey from October through December. **7. Potential envelope/packaging elements** We may also develop a simple branded treatment for the mailing envelope or other small finishing details. Final dimensions for some pieces can be developed together based on the design and printing requirements. ## EXISTING BRAND DIRECTION The strategy, messaging, copy direction, fonts, and color palette have already been developed. I am **not looking for a complete rebrand**. But I don't have a logo or any assets. ### Fonts **Gentle Side** — primary display/headline font **Montserrat** — body/readability font **Sea Salt** — handwritten accent used sparingly I own/will provide the appropriate font licenses/files. ### Colors Deep Teal — #2E7873 Navy — #1C2B4A Coral — #EE8F63 Mustard — #E8BE3F Brown — #3B2A20 Cream — #FBF3E7 The designer does not need to use every color on every piece. ## VISUAL DIRECTION The brand should feel: Warm Personal Tactile Nostalgic Feminine but grown-up Editorial Hopeful Slightly playful Modern with subtle vintage influence Premium but approachable Think: **Beautiful personal correspondence + modern editorial design + a human handwritten touch.** It should NOT feel: * Corporate * Like a workbook * Like a productivity planner * Like therapy materials * Like generic “women's empowerment” branding * Overly boho * Overly pink/pastel * Juvenile * Like a collection of random Canva templates I am open to subtle hand-drawn elements, imperfect lines, arrows, circles, underlines, stars, postal-inspired details, stamps, textures, or simple doodles if they help establish a recognizable visual identity. I do **not** want random Canva graphics or multiple unrelated illustration styles. If you believe a specific illustration/icon/doodle collection would strengthen the brand, I am open to purchasing licensed assets. ## WHAT I NEED FROM THE DESIGNER I'm looking for someone who can do more than simply lay out the copy. I want you to help create a **repeatable visual design system for Show Up Mail Club™** that can eventually be used across future monthly mailings. This should include direction for: * Typography hierarchy * Color usage * Graphic elements * Layout style * Handwritten accents * Print consistency * Visual hierarchy * Overall brand cohesion When someone empties the October envelope onto a table, every piece should clearly feel like it came from the **same world**, without every item looking identical. ## IMPORTANT: CANVA My business uses **Canva Pro**. Final designs must be delivered as **fully editable Canva templates** so I can make future text changes and eventually adapt the system for additional monthly mailings. I also need: * Print-ready PDF files * Proper bleed and safe margins * High-resolution output * CMYK/print considerations where applicable * All purchased/licensed assets clearly identified * No unlicensed graphics, fonts, or illustrations Please do not flatten the final designs in a way that prevents me from editing them in Canva. ## WHO I'M LOOKING FOR You may be a great fit if you have experience with: * Editorial design * Print design * Stationery or physical products * Direct-mail pieces * Subscription products * Packaging * Brand systems * Canva Pro * Typography-heavy design Strong typography skills are especially important because the **letter and words are the heart of this product**. Experience designing social media posts alone is not enough for this project. ## WHEN APPLYING, PLEASE SEND Please include: 1. **2–5 examples of your most relevant work**, especially print, editorial, stationery, packaging, cards, or physical product design. 2. Tell me about your experience creating **editable Canva templates**. 3. Tell me whether you have experience preparing artwork for **professional printing**. 4. Briefly describe how you would approach creating a visual system across multiple pieces without making everything look the same. 5. Tell me your estimated timeline for completing the October collection. 6. Provide your **fixed-price quote for the October collection** and explain what is included. Please begin your response with the words: **SHOW UP** so I know you read the entire brief. ## POTENTIAL ONGOING WORK This is not necessarily a one-time project. If the October collection is successful and we work well together, I would like to continue with: **November — The Proof** **December — The Evidence** and potentially the ongoing **12-month Show Up Mail Club™** beginning in January. I'm looking for someone who would be excited to help build a recognizable physical brand experience over time. ### THE MOST IMPORTANT IDEA When a member opens her envelope, I want her to feel: **“Someone made this for me.”** Not: **“I bought another self-improvement program.”** If that distinction makes sense to you, I'd love to see your work.
