Graphic Designer for Apparel

Graphic Designer - Apparel Design We are looking for a creative graphic designer to help us develop a collection of aviation-inspired apparel and merchandise. We are looking for someone who can take our brand and turn it into fun, creative, modern designs that people will actually want to wear. Designs may include T-shirts, sweatshirts, hats, stickers, and other branded merchandise. What You'll Be Doing * Create original apparel graphics inspired by aviation, flight training, pilots, and the brand * Develop creative concepts for T-shirts, sweatshirts, hats, and other merchandise * Incorporate our existing branding and logo when appropriate * Create designs that appeal to student pilots, professional pilots, aviation enthusiasts, and our local Richmond community * Provide print-ready artwork in appropriate formats * Work with our team to revise and refine designs based on feedback * Help develop a consistent visual style across our apparel collection What We're Looking For * Strong graphic design and illustration skills * Experience designing for apparel or merchandise preferred * Creativity and the ability to develop original concepts * Strong understanding of typography, composition, and branding * Ability to create designs that work well on different apparel colors and styles * Proficiency with programs such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or similar design software * Reliable communication and ability to meet agreed-upon deadlines * A portfolio showcasing previous design work Bonus Points * Aviation knowledge or an interest in aviation * Experience creating designs for flight schools, aviation brands, or other lifestyle brands * Experience preparing artwork for screen printing, embroidery, or other apparel production * Ability to create both clean/minimal designs and more detailed illustrated designs Project Details This will initially be a design-based project, with the potential for ongoing work as we continue to develop the apparel line. We are looking for someone who can bring fresh ideas and personality to our brand while keeping the designs professional, recognizable, and wearable.
