Graphic Designer for Business Cards

We are seeking an experienced business card designer to create a fully custom, professional design from scratch. Designer Requirements: - Individual freelancers only. No agencies. - Must be available to begin within 48 hours. - Strong written and verbal English is required, including comfort participating in Zoom meetings. - Formal design education or professional training is required. Briefly explain your relevant background. - Strong understanding of typography, spacing, visual hierarchy, colour theory, composition, and professional print design. - Professional print-production knowledge, including CMYK and Pantone colours, bleed, trim and safety margins, resolution, font handling, and press-ready file preparation. - Must work in professional design software such as Adobe Illustrator or InDesign. This is not a Canva project. Original Design Requirement: All designs must be created entirely from scratch. We will not consider Canva designs, downloaded templates, premade layouts, Envato Elements assets, or automated business card design tools. We have more than 10 years of business card design experience and can readily identify commonly used templates. Originality is essential. Portfolio Requirements: Provide direct links to at least five original business card designs you personally created. Full-colour, double-sided examples are preferred, with variety in style and industry. You may include other design work, but your proposal should focus primarily on relevant business card examples. Do not simply direct us to a general portfolio. Deliverables and Project Details: - Editable source files - Properly prepared, print-ready files - Fixed project budgets agreed upon before work begins - Opportunity for significant ongoing work for the right designer Please address each section clearly in your proposal.
