Graphic Designer for Website and Assets

# Graphic Designer, Brand + Light UI, Figma We are a B2B SaaS company looking for an experienced graphic designer to start with a defined project. If the collaboration goes well, there is ongoing work available and the potential for a larger, longer term engagement. You will work alongside a small in house design team within an established brand system. We already have documented design tokens, typography, iconography, illustration families, and UI components. This is not a brand creation role. We are looking for someone who can work confidently inside an existing system, maintain a high level of consistency, and help extend that system when needed. ## The work Depending on the project, you may work on: * Digital ads for paid social and display * Blog header illustrations created in Figma using existing specifications and visual styles * Marketing campaign assets across web and social * Event and trade show collateral, including print materials * Partner and co branded one pagers * Presentation slides * Light UI work using our existing component library and laying out product screens The majority of the work is brand and marketing design, with some UI work mixed in. The first engagement will be a clearly defined, scoped project from the areas above. ## What we are looking for * 5+ years of professional graphic design experience, ideally working in house or with long term clients * Expert level Figma skills, including components, variants, Auto Layout, and variables * Comfortable working with clean SVGs and established design tokens * Strong understanding of brand systems and visual consistency * Print production experience, including bleed, CMYK, file preparation, and working with printers * Enough UI experience to correctly use and extend an existing component library * Strong written English, since most feedback and direction happens asynchronously Nice to have: * Motion design experience * Previous B2B SaaS experience ## How we work Most design work happens in Figma, with daily communication through Slack. We provide clear briefs and fast feedback, and we expect good communication and responsiveness in return. Some working hour overlap with US Eastern time is required. ## One important rule We do not ship AI generated imagery. You are welcome to use AI tools internally as part of your research or creative process, but no AI generated image, illustration, or photography can appear in a final asset. Final visuals should be intentionally designed and constructed. ## How to apply Please send us your portfolio. We are particularly interested in seeing work you created within someone else's established brand system rather than only brands or visual identities you created yourself. Please also include any UI work you have done, even if it represents only a small part of your portfolio. In your proposal, answer this question: **Tell us about a time when an existing brand guideline got in the way of a design you wanted to create. What was the constraint, and how did you handle it?** Proposals that do not answer this question will not be reviewed.
