Graphic designer needed to create brand identity for international women's health charity conference
Worldwide
We’re a volunteer-run women's health charity, with a major event being held in Melbourne, Australia in 2027 - the Lipedema World Congress III which will be co-located with Lipoedema Australia Conference VII. Logos for both organisations already exist; we now need a cohesive, on-brand set of graphics and templates for marketing, documents, social media, and web use. We’ve just announced the event and want to move quickly. We’re aiming to have the final brand kit and core templates completed by the end of September 2026 ready for registrations to launch. We’re looking for a brand/graphic designer who can: Take existing logos and brand notes and develop 2–3 initial concept directions for a broader visual identity/graphics system. Once we select/refine a direction, produce a full set of graphics and templates for: Marketing & print: one-pager/flyer, program/schedule layout, signage templates (e.g., A4/A3/poster), pull-up banner, name badge, certificate. Digital & web: website graphics (hero/header images, section dividers, icon set or graphic elements), email header/footers, presentation template (PowerPoint/Google Slides). Social media: a set of reusable templates (e.g., 15-20) for Instagram/Facebook/LinkedIn (square, portrait, and landscape) for announcements, speakers, countdowns, quotes, stats, and calls-to-action. Document templates: letterhead, report/whitepaper cover and interior styles, fact sheet/infographic template. Provide all final files in editable formats (e.g., Adobe Illustrator/InDesign/Canva or Figma) plus export-ready PNG/JPG/PDF as appropriate. Offer guidance on best practices for consistent use across channels (simple usage notes or a mini style guide). How we’d like to work Phase 1 – Concepts: 2–3 distinct concept directions (moodboard + sample graphics across key formats). Phase 2 – Refinement: We select one direction (or a hybrid) and refine based on feedback. Phase 3 – Production: Build out the full set of graphics and templates across all required formats. We value designers who are responsive, collaborative, and proactive, and who can both follow our brief and suggest improvements based on their expertise. Ideal experience Proven experience creating brand identity kits / graphic systems (not just logos). Strong portfolio of social media template sets and document/layout design. Experience working with not-for-profits, health organisations, or conferences/events. Familiarity with women’s health topics is a plus (or clear sensitivity to the space). Comfortable working with existing brand assets and extending them into a broader system. Timeline Project start: ASAP (mid-September 2026). Concept directions: within 5–7 days of kickoff. Final brand kit + core templates: by 30 September 2026. Ongoing support for additional assets may be available after this initial scope. Budget Please propose your fixed-price quote for the full scope above, or an hourly rate with an estimated total. We’re open to discussion based on experience and portfolio. We are a registered charity, and would appreciate any NFP discounts that you may be able to offer. To apply, please include A short note on why you’re a good fit for a nonprofit women’s health conference. Links to 2–3 relevant portfolio pieces (brand kits, template sets, or event graphics). Your proposed timeline and fee. Any questions you have about the brief.
