HCM Analyst

We are an HR technology consultancy partnering with a leading WA institution to seek a capable and detail-oriented HCM Analyst to support the delivery of a significant Human Capital Management transformation program. This role sits at the intersection of HR operations and technology, where you will contribute to configuration, testing, data analysis, and process documentation across key HCM workstreams. This is a great opportunity for someone with solid HCM platform experience who is looking to deepen their skills on a large-scale enterprise program. What You’ll Do: -Support functional configuration and testing activities across HCM modules. -Analyse HR and payroll data to identify gaps, inconsistencies, and opportunities for process improvement. -Document current and future-state processes, user stories, and functional specifications. -Assist with data migration activities including mapping, cleansing, and validation. -Contribute to UAT planning and execution, tracking defects and supporting resolution. -Liaise with stakeholders across HR, Payroll, and IT to gather requirements and validate solutions. About You: -Solid experience working as an HCM Analyst or Functional Analyst on HCM/HRIS platforms such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, or Oracle HCM. -Good understanding of HR and payroll processes and Australian compliance requirements. -Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail. -Ability to produce clear, well-structured documentation and functional artefacts. -Effective communicator with good stakeholder engagement skills. -Ability to work within Australia-based time frames. Desirable: -Experience with data migration and system integration activities. -Familiarity with reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau. Exposure to higher education or public sector environments. Qualifications: -Degree in Business, HR, Information Systems, or a related field. -HCM platform training or certifications advantageous.
