Hardware Engineer – Production-Grade PCB Schematic & Electronics Design for Smart Cookware

Short Job Description We are developing a premium smart cookware product and are looking for an experienced hardware engineer to design the production-ready electronics architecture, schematic, and PCB-ready circuit design. The engineer will be responsible for translating our functional requirements into a robust, compact, cost-optimized hardware design suitable for mass production. The design should prioritize reliability, safety, thermal considerations, serviceability, and premium product quality. Scope of Work Develop complete electronic block diagram and detailed schematics Select appropriate production-grade components Design the power, sensing, MCU, user-interface and display interfaces Consider high-temperature operating environment and thermal isolation Design appropriate protection, filtering, ESD and fault-handling provisions Optimize PCB size and BOM cost without compromising reliability Provide BOM with manufacturer part numbers Provide schematic files and PCB design files in a commonly used professional EDA tool Provide design documentation suitable for PCB manufacturing and future production Ideal Candidate Strong experience in STM32-based embedded hardware Experience designing consumer electronics / IoT / smart appliances Good understanding of sensors, analog measurement circuits and battery-powered electronics Experience taking hardware from prototype → production Familiarity with DFM/DFA, component sourcing and cost optimization Experience with high-temperature environments is an advantage Please share 2–3 examples of production hardware products you have designed, preferably consumer or appliance products.
