This person will sit at the center of our marketing operation. You will not be responsible for personally shooting all of our content. We already produce substantial original photography and video. Your job is to know: What are we saying? Why are we saying it? When are we saying it? Which creative supports it? And how does that idea translate consistently across every customer touchpoint? The Role You will own and maintain a rolling 12-month content and campaign calendar covering: Seasonal storytelling Product launches Promotions Harvests and agricultural moments Holidays Retail announcements Partnerships Press Events Creator activity Recipes Educational content Founder stories Behind-the-scenes material Brand storytelling Cultural moments that genuinely make sense for the brand From that master calendar, you will coordinate what happens across: Instagram TikTok Other relevant social platforms Email marketing Paid advertising Website Creator seeding PR / announcements Retail and wholesale marketing Your Responsibilities Content Strategy Build and maintain our annual marketing and editorial calendar. Translate company priorities into compelling content themes. Develop recurring editorial franchises rather than relying on random daily posting. Plan campaign arcs before launches occur. Balance product-selling content with storytelling, education, culture, farm content, recipes, people, and beautiful brand imagery. Identify gaps in our existing content library and brief future shoots accordingly. Social Media Social is the most important day-to-day channel you will own. You will: Build weekly and monthly social calendars. Select material from our organized content library. Write or direct captions and messaging. Determine sequencing and cadence. Coordinate Reels, Stories, carousels, still imagery, announcements, founder content, and UGC. Maintain a coherent visual rhythm across the account. Schedule and publish approved content. Monitor what resonates and adjust accordingly. Develop concepts that build brand equity rather than chasing every trend. Cross-Channel Coordination You will act as the central point connecting our: Founder / Creative Director Content Producer / Digital Asset Manager Email marketing team Paid advertising team Customer Relations / Creator Manager Graphic designers Website team Sales / wholesale initiatives For a major campaign, there should be one central idea and one central calendar, with each team adapting it appropriately. The email team should not be inventing an unrelated campaign. The ad team should not be searching for random photographs. The social feed should not be disconnected from what customers are receiving through email. Your job is to create that alignment. Working With the Founder Our founder is highly involved in photography, creative direction, product, and company strategy. A major objective of this role is to protect the founder's creative time. We want the founder spending the majority of creative hours: Shooting Developing campaign concepts Working on product Reviewing major creative Developing brand strategy —not building posting calendars or chasing assets. You should arrive with organized recommendations and decisions ready for approval. Working With Our Content Producer You will work extremely closely with a Content Producer / Digital Asset Manager. You determine what campaigns and content are needed. The Producer makes sure the appropriate photography, video, graphics, crops, and files are organized and prepared. Together, you should be capable of taking a large archive of beautiful raw material and turning it into months of coordinated marketing. Working With Customer Relations Our Customer Relations / Creator Manager handles creator relationships and seeding. You will coordinate with them regarding: Who receives product Upcoming launches Creative themes UGC opportunities Reposting Creator campaigns Product education Timing Creator activity should support the broader brand calendar rather than existing as a separate program. Who We're Looking For You have excellent judgment and understand premium brands. Relevant experience could include: Fashion Beauty Food Hospitality Travel Luxury consumer brands Editorial media Design-driven startups CPG with exceptional creative You are both strategic and extremely organized. You can think 12 months ahead while still knowing exactly what needs to be posted next Tuesday. You Have Strong Taste We do not want a content strategy based around: constant discounting generic engagement bait meme templates random trends excessive posting simply for volume We want someone who understands how brands create desire, identity, consistency, and cultural relevance over time. Excellent writing ability is important. Strong visual judgment is equally important. What Success Looks Like After several months: We have a clear 12-month editorial and promotional calendar. Every major campaign is planned in advance. Social feels coherent and intentional. Email, advertising, creators, and social reinforce one another. Our photography archive is being used intelligently. We are shooting with future campaigns in mind. Fewer things are rushed. The founder is involved in creative decisions without being trapped in execution. Our audience understands not only what we sell, but what our world feels like. Initial Paid Project Shortlisted candidates will be offered a paid strategy exercise. We may provide: Our upcoming business priorities Product calendar Existing photography Current social presence Promotional dates We will ask you to create a sample 30-day content calendar and an outline of how you would expand it into a 12-month system. To Apply Please send: Brands/accounts you have managed. Specific examples of campaigns you planned. Social accounts where you personally drove the strategy. Examples of your writing. Examples that demonstrate strong visual judgment. A short explanation of how you would approach our first 90 days. Your preferred compensation structure. Your availability. Please do not send a generic social-media-management proposal. We want someone who genuinely understands brand building.
