Healing Interrupted - copy editor

Hello, I’m in search of a copy editor who works in the Google Docs Platform. My manuscript is currently in its final stages of developmental editing and will be completed within the next week. Healing Interrupted is a literary narrative nonfiction memoir that chronicles my journey following a cognitive traumatic brain injury. It examines the challenges people face while navigating medical and legal systems post injury. Although deeply personal, the book is intended to educate, advocate, and provide hope and wisdom for anyone struggling through brain challenges. I’m interested in working with someone who has experience in copy-editing literary narrative nonfiction memoir or similar works. The goal is to create a polished, publication-ready book that reflects the professionalism and credibility of its subject matter. Specifically, I am seeking assistance with: Grammar, punctuation, spelling, and usage Sentence structure, syntax, and clarity Consistency in style, capitalization, and terminology Awkward or confusing constructions Missing, repeated, or incorrect words Unnecessary repetition Continuity issues and obvious inconsistencies I anticipate publishing additional books and companion workbooks in the future.
