# Healthcare Product Development Partner | GP Practice Management + EHR/EMR Platform | We are looking for an **experienced Healthcare Product Development Partner / Engineering Team** with proven experience designing and building **Healthcare SaaS products, GP Practice Management Systems (PMS), Clinical Information Systems (CIS), EHR/EMR platforms, or similar clinical applications**. This is **not a generic software development project**. We specifically want to work with a team that understands healthcare product engineering, clinical workflows, patient records, prescribing, billing/claims, healthcare interoperability and regulated healthcare integrations. Experience with **Australian GP software, Australian Digital Health integrations, MediRecords, MMEx, Best Practice, MedicalDirector or comparable GP/EHR platforms** will be highly preferred. ## Product We Want to Build The objective is to build an independent, modern, cloud-based **GP Practice Management + EHR/EMR platform for the Australian market**, comparable in functional breadth to established products such as **MMEx and MediRecords**. These products are being used as functional benchmarks only. We are building our **own product, architecture, workflows, UX, APIs and intellectual property**. The platform is expected to support the complete GP practice journey from: **Patient Registration → Appointment → Reception/Waiting Room → GP Consultation → Clinical Documentation → Medication & Prescribing → Pathology/Imaging → Referrals → Billing & Claims → Recalls/Follow-up → Digital Health Exchange → Reporting & Patient Engagement** ## Core Product Scope ### 1. GP Practice Management The platform should cover: * Practice, site, provider and clinician configuration * Patient registration and demographics * Appointment scheduling and provider calendars * Appointment cancellation/rescheduling * Waiting room and patient check-in/check-out * SMS/email reminders * Tasks, recalls and internal work queues * Provider and healthcare organisation directory * Patient document management * Multi-practice and multi-location administration ### 2. EHR / EMR & Clinical Workflows We require a comprehensive longitudinal clinical record covering: * Patient clinical history * GP consultation/encounter documentation * Structured and free-text clinical notes * Problems and diagnoses * Medical, family and social history * Observations and vital signs * Allergies and adverse drug reactions * Medication history * Immunisation history * Clinical templates and configurable forms * Care plans and chronic disease management * Preventive health and recall workflows * Medical certificates and clinical letters * Clinical document management ### 3. Medication & Electronic Prescribing The product should support: * Medication management * Drug/medicine search * Medication favourites and repeats * Allergy, interaction and medication safety alerts * Australian medicines terminology/content * Electronic prescribing/eScripts * Prescription token workflows * Active Script List (ASL) * PBS-related prescribing/authority workflows * Real-Time Prescription Monitoring (RTPM) * Prescription lifecycle, cancellation, repeats and audit history ### 4. Australian Digital Health Integration & Conformance A major requirement is experience with, or the ability to successfully implement, the Australian healthcare ecosystem, including: * Healthcare Identifiers Service * IHI * HPI-I * HPI-O * NASH certificates / PKI * My Health Record * Electronic Prescribing * Active Script List * NPDS / prescription delivery infrastructure where applicable * SNOMED CT-AU * Australian Medicines Terminology * Medicare Online * Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) * DVA * PBS / PBS Authorities * ECLIPSE where applicable * PRODA / Services Australia developer integrations * State/Territory Real-Time Prescription Monitoring We understand that Australian healthcare conformance is capability-specific, so we are particularly interested in developers or companies that have **personally taken healthcare software through relevant Australian integration, testing, conformance and production onboarding processes**. ### 5. Billing & Claims Required functionality includes: * MBS/private/DVA billing * Bulk billing * Private invoices * Receipts and payments * Fee schedules * Adjustments and refunds * Medicare/DVA claims submission * Claim status * Claim rejection handling * Correction and resubmission * Reconciliation * Practice/clinician/location financial reporting ### 6. Pathology, Imaging, Referrals & Healthcare Ecosystem The platform should support integrations/workflows for: * Pathology ordering * Electronic pathology results * Diagnostic imaging/radiology * Results inbox * Abnormal-result workflow and follow-up * Provider/referral directory * Referral letters * Attachments * Electronic referrals * Secure clinical messaging * HealthLink/Argus or comparable networks * Delivery acknowledgement and failed-message handling ### 7. Patient Digital Services Later stages of the solution include: * Online appointment booking * Patient portal * Patient self-registration * Digital intake and consent forms * SMS/email communications * Telehealth/video consultation * Mobile/PWA capability * Patient access to selected documents, invoices and health information ### 8.
