Healthcare Regulatory Research & Petition Writer (OSHA / HCAI / MRI Safety)

We are seeking an experienced healthcare regulatory researcher and technical writer to assist with the development of formal regulatory petitions, advisory guides, and safety recommendations related to MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) safety and emergency communication systems. The project involves refining and expanding existing petition drafts submitted to California agencies, including Cal/OSHA and HCAI (California Department of Health Care Access and Information), as well as supporting future submissions to industry organizations such as FGI (Facilities Guidelines Institute). Project Scope The selected freelancer will: - Review existing OSHA petition and supporting documentation. - Review HCAI advisory guide examples and related healthcare design standards. - Research MRI safety standards, healthcare facility design requirements, and emergency communication systems. - Incorporate recommendations from: - HCAI - ACR (American College of Radiology) - FGI (Facilities Guidelines Institute) - AHRA - ECRI California healthcare regulations - Develop professionally formatted regulatory documents suitable for submission to government agencies and standards organizations. - Prepare supporting research summaries and references. - Assist with drafting proposed code language and advisory guide language. - Provide recommendations for regulatory strategy and stakeholder engagement.
