Hebrew Native Speakers Needed - Photograph Everyday Handwritten & Printed Materials (iPhone)
Worldwide
We're building a dataset of authentic, everyday Hebrew-language documents to support AI research. We're looking for Hebrew native speakers to photograph real handwritten and printed materials from their daily life - no writing or creating new content required, just capturing what already exists around you. What you'll submit (examples): birthday/greeting cards, letters & diary pages, notes & lists, menus, flyers, receipts, recipes, forms, whiteboards/blackboards, price tags, posters, signage, food packaging, magazine covers. Requirements: Requires iPhone or iPad (2018 or newer) Must be a native Hebrew speaker / based in a Hebrew-speaking household or community Content must be real and already existing - no staged, fabricated, or newly written-for-this-project content Text/content must cover at least 60% of the photo area (personal identifying info excluded/blurred) Content must reflect genuine daily-life context (e.g., a birthday card must include the sender's or recipient's name - unnamed cards are rejected as invalid) Submissions must show variety - avoid repeating the same background or content across multiple photos Avoid artificial-looking setups (e.g., a blank new paper placed on the floor) How payment works: This is a fixed-price, per-item contract. You are paid for each photo that passes quality review (QC) - not per submission. Here's how it's structured: Trial batch (first milestone): 10 items, paid at the standard rate for the categories submitted (minimum $5, per Upwork's milestone policy). This batch is funded upfront and used to confirm fit before we scale up volume together. From the second batch onward: we'll set up individual Upwork milestones for each batch of work. Each milestone is funded before you start, reviewed promptly after submission, and released once the items pass QC. Rates range from $0.50–$1.00 per approved photo, depending on category (full rate card shared after you're selected) We provide clear rejection reasons for any items that don't pass, so you can adjust for future batches Why work with us: Ongoing volume - this isn't a one-off gig, we're looking for long-term contributors across multiple rounds Flexible, remote, work on your own schedule Transparent QC criteria from day one (see requirements above) How to apply: Please submit a proposal - no writing samples or work products needed at this stage. We'll review proposals and reach out to move forward with the paid trial batch.
