Hiring YouTube Researcher & Scriptwriter — Documentary/Commentary Channel (2)

We’re building a retention-focused faceless YouTube channel covering internet culture, social media, influencers, celebrities/pop culture, consumer trends, online controversies, business/tech stories, and broader social/cultural phenomena. We’re looking for an experienced Researcher & Scriptwriter who can handle the full process from finding strong video topics to researching and writing engaging longform scripts for an English/US audience. Primary Storytelling References: Moon & Patrick Cc: Responsibilities: • Research current trends and identify strong, clickable video topics • Develop title ideas using proven packaging structures from channels such as Moon, Patrick Cc:, Internet Anarchist, Ryan Pictures & Mattyballz • Independently research approved topics in depth, prioritizing reliable/primary sources • Write engaging 12–20 minute documentary/commentary scripts with strong hooks, pacing, curiosity gaps, escalation and payoffs • Collect important articles, social posts/comments, screenshots, statistics and other sources/assets for the editor • Find relevant original-audio clips and provide links + exact timestamps whenever possible Requirements: Strong research skills, excellent English writing, understanding of YouTube retention/storytelling, topic awareness, reliability & professional communication. You should be comfortable working independently rather than relying on detailed outlines or pre-researched topics.
