Home Office Desk Development

Hi, I'm developing a wall-mounted fold-down desk for home offices in Berlin, Germany. Closed, it looks like a framed picture on the wall; open, it's a workstation for two 27-inch monitors with a built-in power outlet and a laptop compartment. Carcass in melamine-faced particleboard, flap in birch plywood, roughly 140 × 73 × 18 cm when closed. The first prototype will be built by a CNC joinery in Berlin, followed by a small production run. What I need: a concise requirements document, a 3D model (STEP) with sections, a bill of materials with specified hardware, and the hardware and wall-load calculations, later the full production drawing set. The key skills are panel materials, edgebanding, CNC-ready construction and furniture hardware (flap stays, gas springs, hinges). Everything is metric and built to European standards, hardware from Hettich, Häfele, Blum or Italiana Ferramenta. Work is fully remote and all coordination runs through me. If the collaboration goes well, a second, technically more demanding project on the same platform will follow. To see whether it's a fit, three requests: 1. Availability: Could you start within the next few days and deliver the first package quickly? 2. Work samples: Two or three pieces of furniture or interiors you engineered and that were actually built, ideally with a drawing excerpt (section or drilling pattern) and a note on which hardware you specified. 3. Short technical question: A 138 cm wide flap in 18 mm birch plywood with a wooden frame, about 20 kg, hinges at its bottom edge and folds down out of the carcass to become a horizontal worktop. It must carry 50 kg, of which 20 kg at the front edge, with no visible supports or cables. Which two hardware solutions would you evaluate, which one would you prefer, and what would you calculate to size it? Five sentences are enough. Please also include your hourly rate or whether you would quote the first package as a fixed price. If it fits, I'll send a short NDA and the one-page brief, and we get started.
