Hospitality Architect Needed to Reimagine a 4,000 sq. ft. Main House We are seeking an experienced hospitality architect or architectural designer to develop the concept for the transformation of an existing two-level, approximately 4,000 sq. ft. residential house. The objective is to reposition the property from a traditional residential layout into the central gathering and experiential space of a high-end hospitality destination. The main house should become a warm, sophisticated, and highly distinctive environment combining several complementary uses, including: * Social and gathering spaces * Wellness and relaxation * Library and reading areas * Coffee and informal food-and-beverage experiences * Entertainment and cultural programming * Quiet spaces for work, reflection, and conversation The project is currently at an early concept stage. We are primarily looking for a candidate who can help define the spatial vision, atmosphere, guest journey, and overall design identity. A key part of the assignment will be the preparation of a strong and coherent mood board and conceptual design direction. The architect should be able to translate a broader hospitality brand vision into materials, colors, textures, lighting, furniture, architectural references, and spatial experiences. The intended atmosphere should combine: * Boutique hospitality * Contemporary wellness * Residential warmth * Cultural and intellectual character * Informal luxury * Strong connections with nature * Timeless, tactile, and sophisticated materials The space should not feel like a conventional hotel lobby, private residence, corporate venue, or generic wellness center. It should have a strong identity and create a memorable sense of place. At this stage, the expected deliverables are likely to include: * Review of the existing property and layout * Initial space-planning recommendations * Conceptual floor plans * Guest journey and functional zoning * Mood boards and design references * Material, color, lighting, and furniture direction * Initial visual concepts or sketches for the principal spaces We are looking for candidates with demonstrated experience in: * Boutique hotels and resorts * Members’ clubs * Wellness retreats and spas * High-end restaurants, cafés, and lounges * Experiential hospitality projects * Adaptive reuse or conversion of residential properties * Luxury residential projects with substantial hospitality components Applicants should have a strong portfolio demonstrating both conceptual creativity and an understanding of hospitality operations.
