Hospitality Sales & Procurement Specialist - Hotel Development Projects
Worldwide
We are looking for an experienced Hospitality Sales / Procurement Specialist to help us develop a new B2B sales channel targeting upcoming hotel, resort, branded residence, and high-end residential development projects. We are an established art company specializing in hand-painted and customizable artwork, including custom sizes, colors, compositions, framing, and project-based production. Our goal is to have our artwork specified and sourced for new hospitality and residential developments. What We Need This is NOT a general lead generation or virtual assistant role. We are specifically looking for someone who understands how hotel development and procurement actually works, including: * Hotel development timelines * Interior design and specification stages * FF&E procurement * Supplier sourcing and qualification * RFQs / tenders * Mock-up rooms and sample approvals * Purchase orders and project procurement * Hotel pre-opening timelines * The roles of developers, owners, operators, interior designers, procurement companies, architects, and FF&E consultants TOPHOTELPROJECTS Experience Required You must have previous experience using TOPHOTELPROJECTS or working extensively with its hotel development/project database. Please explain in your application how you have used TOPHOTELPROJECTS in your previous work. Experience with similar hospitality development intelligence databases may be useful, but we are specifically interested in candidates who already understand TOPHOTELPROJECTS. Your Responsibilities You will help us build and manage our hospitality project sales pipeline from research through outreach. This will include: 1. Identify Suitable Hotel Projects Use TOPHOTELPROJECTS to identify upcoming: * Hotels * Resorts * Luxury/boutique hotels * Branded residences * Serviced apartments * Other relevant hospitality developments We are particularly interested in projects where artwork procurement/specification has not yet been finalized. 2. Understand the Project For each opportunity, determine where possible: * Project stage * Expected opening date * Developer / owner * Hotel operator / brand * Interior designer * Architect * FF&E procurement company * Art consultant * Main contractor / fit-out contractor * Relevant decision makers * Expected procurement/specification timeline Most importantly, we want to understand: Who is responsible for specifying and/or purchasing artwork for this project, and when should we approach them? 3. Find the Right Decision Makers Research the relevant contacts through LinkedIn, company websites, industry databases, and other professional sources. We do not want generic hotel contact information. We want the people actually involved in: * Interior design * FF&E * Procurement * Purchasing * Project development * Design management * Art specification * Pre-opening 4. Outreach & Sales Contact qualified prospects and introduce our artwork capabilities. The objective is to: * Introduce our company as a potential artwork supplier * Understand their artwork sourcing process * Become considered/spec’d for suitable projects * Arrange introductory calls or meetings * Identify opportunities for samples, proposals, quotations, or artwork packages * Build long-term relationships with interior designers, procurement firms, developers, and hospitality groups 5. Follow Up & Pipeline Management Maintain an organized pipeline showing: Project → Company → Contact → Project Stage → Procurement Stage → Last Contact → Next Action → Opportunity Status We want systematic follow-up rather than sending one email and abandoning the lead. Our Offering We can provide: * Individually hand-painted artwork * Custom artwork development * Custom colors and palettes * Custom dimensions * Design/composition modifications * Digital visualizations before production * Samples and prototypes * Multiple framing options * Large-scale statement artwork * Multi-piece artwork collections * Project/bulk production * International delivery We are particularly interested in working with interior designers and procurement teams who require artwork adapted to a project’s design concept. Ideal Background We would particularly like to hear from candidates who have previously worked for or with: * Hotel procurement companies * FF&E procurement companies * Hotel developers * Hospitality interior design studios * Hotel operators * Hospitality suppliers * Art consultants * Furniture / lighting / décor suppliers selling into hotels * Hospitality development intelligence companies Experience selling art, furniture, lighting, décor, accessories, or other FF&E products into hotels would be especially valuable. REQUIRED Experience Please apply only if you have genuine experience in hotel procurement, hospitality development, FF&E, or B2B hospitality sales. You should understand the difference between approaching a hotel that is already operating and approaching a hotel development while its interiors and FF&E are still being specified. Previous hands-on experience with TOPHOTELPROJECTS is required. When Applying Please answer the following questions: 1. What experience do you have with hotel development, FF&E, or hospitality procurement? 2. Have you personally used TOPHOTELPROJECTS? What did you use it for? 3. Give an example of a hotel project where you were involved in sourcing, procurement, specification, or supplier sales. 4. Who normally makes or influences the artwork/FF&E purchasing decision during a hotel development? 5. If a hotel is scheduled to open in approximately 12–18 months, how would you determine whether it is the right time for us to approach the project? 6. Which types of contacts would you approach first for an artwork supplier? 7. Which countries/markets have you previously worked in?
