Human Documentary Narrator for Gaming YouTube Channel – Long-Term Potential

We are launching Pixel Dossier, a new faceless YouTube documentary channel focused on fascinating stories from the gaming industry — successes, failures, mysteries, controversies, companies, and the business behind games. We are looking for a human documentary narrator for our first 12–14 minute video, with the potential for ongoing work if your voice is a strong fit for the channel. First project: “Amazon Is Done With MMOs. What Went Wrong?” Approx. 1,800–2,100 words We are looking for a voice that sounds: Natural and genuinely human Calm, intelligent, and confident Conversational but professional Slightly cinematic without sounding like a movie trailer Engaging enough to hold attention for 12–20 minutes Able to create curiosity, tension, and emotion naturally Clear and easy to understand for an international English-speaking audience Male or female voices are welcome. American, British, Australian, Canadian, or other clear natural English accents are all welcome. We do not want: Radio-announcer style delivery Exaggerated YouTube excitement Overly dramatic movie-trailer voices Very slow audiobook narration AI-generated or synthetic narration AI voice cloning The final narration must be recorded using your own natural human voice. Deliverables: Professionally recorded clean narration WAV preferred No music or sound effects Natural pauses and pacing Consistent audio quality Mistakes removed One reasonable round of pickups for mispronunciations or reading errors Ideally 2–3 day turnaround Budget: Up to US$150 fixed price for the completed first narration.
