Summary

We are a 100% remote law practice providing comprehensive estate planning packages to clients in simple situations at an affordable price point. We currently operate only in California. You can be based anywhere in the United States, but you must be able to work during California business hours. We are a small firm and are at an inflexion point where we want to bring on some high-performing team members to grow the firm. The next year will be exciting! We need a motivated professional to act as both a case manager and legal assistant in a fast-growing law firm. The position is 100% remote. As a case manager, you will serve as the central administrative hub and primary point of contact for clients throughout the estate planning process. You will coordinate file progress from intake to final draft delivery, including coordinating and triaging all inbound client communication. In a general sense, your responsibility will be to make sure the client is updated on the progress of their case and that the appropriate internal team member is notified of anything the client needs. As a legal assistant, you will work with clients on any changes they have to drafts of their estate planning documents. Re-configuring successor trustees, updating beneficiaries and distribution information, etc. An attorney supervises the legal work for all client matters, but many changes, revisions, updates, and questions about the documents should be handled by a legal assistant. Experience drafting or editing estate planning documents is a plus. Writing experience is a must. This role is ideal for someone organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling high-volume administrative work in a growing legal environment.
