Illustrator Needed - Ongoing Work for EdTech Audiobook Startup

We’re an EdTech startup about to launch, and we’re looking for a creative, reliable Illustrator to join our team on an ongoing, full-time basis. You’ll be producing high-quality digital illustrations for audiobooks. We’ll provide the full manuscript for each story so you can fully understand the characters, tone, and world before illustrating. 
 We’ll also provide an approved sketch and PSD files for each illustration, which you’ll need to trace and bring to life in our established style. We have ongoing work available for the right person, and this is a long-term, consistent opportunity you’ll genuinely enjoy if you love storytelling through art. 
 What you’ll do: * Create engaging illustrations that bring audiobook stories to life (please see attached examples of approved illustrations so far). * Work from the sketches and PSD files provided by our team, tracing and developing them into finished illustrations in our established style. * Interpret manuscripts and produce character, environment, and key scene artwork. * Maintain consistency in visual style and quality across projects. * Collaborate closely with our creative team to meet project timelines. What we’re looking for: * Proven experience as an illustrator or concept artist (publishing, media, or education preferred). * Strong visual storytelling skills and understanding of colour, lighting, and composition. * Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Procreate, or similar tools. * Confidence working from supplied sketches and layered PSD files. * Flexibility to adapt your art style across different genres and audiences. * Excellent communication and time management skills. Bonus points if you have: * Experience illustrating for books or audiobooks. * An interest in education, children’s content, or storytelling.
