Illustrator Wanted for Detailed Art Deco Hotel Cutaway Puzzle Artwork

We are Evergreen Puzzles, a premium wooden jigsaw puzzle company, and we are looking for an experienced illustrator to create an original piece of artwork for an upcoming puzzle. The Concept The artwork will feature a luxurious Art Deco hotel called The Evergreen, shown as a detailed architectural cutaway/cross-section so the viewer can see activity happening throughout the building. The final puzzle artwork will be approximately 18" x 12" in portrait orientation. We envision the hotel having: A rooftop bar and swimming pool, with prominent “The Evergreen” hotel signage Four residential/guest-room floors with a variety of elegant rooms, hallways, guests, and small visual stories A library and parlour floor with bookshelves, fireplaces, seating areas, and guests relaxing A grand first-floor lobby/lounge and hotel check-in area A basement restaurant / hidden speakeasy with a warm, intimate atmosphere A landscaped backyard garden with outdoor dining, paths, lighting, plants, and other details A working kitchen located beneath or adjacent to the garden Additional small characters, objects, architectural details, and scenes throughout the hotel that make the artwork fun to explore while assembling the puzzle Example attached for inspiration only Visual Style We are looking for a sophisticated, luxurious Art Deco / 1920s–1930s-inspired aesthetic. Think: Rich emerald greens, warm golds, brass, dark woods, cream, and deep jewel tones Elegant Art Deco architecture and geometric ornamentation Warm atmospheric lighting Detailed interiors A slightly nostalgic or storybook quality Lots of visual variety and interesting details without becoming visually chaotic Deliverables We would like: Initial composition/sketch for approval One or more progress stages for feedback Final full-color illustration High-resolution, print-ready artwork suitable for an 18" x 12" puzzle Layered/source file if applicable (Photoshop, Procreate, Illustrator, etc.) Commercial rights for Evergreen Puzzles to manufacture, market, and sell products using the finished artwork Ideal Artist We would especially like to hear from illustrators with experience in: Architectural cutaway illustrations Highly detailed environments Editorial or storybook illustration Art Deco, vintage, or historic architecture Jigsaw puzzle artwork “Search-and-find” or narrative illustrations with many small scenes and characters When applying, please include examples of detailed environment or architectural illustration work that you feel is most relevant to this project.
