Illustrator for a full graphic/comic novel of Japanese origin

Looking for a graphic illustrator to help bring a theater screenplay to manga format. Preferably with previous crowdfunding experience or a willingness to share in those efforts. I am a first-time story writer, but bring extensive scientific publication and editing experience (peer-reviewed journals, textbooks, biographies, etc.) The story centers around an English-speaking foreigner learning kanji and the Japanese language. Serendipity, circumstance, religious experience, and vengeful spirits follow accordingly. Fluency is essential. Must be familiar with Japanese cultural nuances, social aspects, and, hopefully, some history. First: Let's find alignment in communication and vision. Second: I can provide hourly compensation for character generation and some initial scene or storyboarding work. This is where you tell me how we work together.
