InDesign Product Catalog Input "Data-entry"

We produce a product catalog for our lighting range and need someone to populate it in Adobe InDesign on an ongoing hourly basis. The template already exists. This is not a design job we are not asking you to invent a layout. You will work inside our approved InDesign template and place products into it consistently and cleanly. Scope of work Place products into our existing InDesign template maximum 4 products per page Enter product data: name, code/SKU, specifications, dimensions, wattage, finish options, and short description Place product images: extracted from our old catalog PDF/INDD, or supplied by us as separate files Basic image cleanup where needed (crop, straighten, consistent sizing, remove background if required) Keep typography, spacing, and alignment consistent across every page this matters more to us than speed Deliver packaged InDesign files (INDD + links + fonts) and a print-ready PDF Volume First batch: approximately 50 products We add products regularly, so we expect this to be an ongoing relationship with new batches over time Excel data merge important We would like to know whether the catalog can be built so that product data lives in an Excel/CSV file and updates flow into InDesign automatically (InDesign Data Merge, or a similar linked-data approach). This would let us update prices, codes, and specs in the spreadsheet without redoing pages. If you can set this up, tell us how you would approach it and what it adds to the initial setup time. If it is not practical for a layout like ours, say so honestly we are fine doing the input manually, and we would rather hear the truth than pay for a system that breaks later. Requirements Solid Adobe InDesign experience with multi-page product catalogs Photoshop for basic image preparation Attention to detail product codes and specifications must be exact Clear communication and reliable turnaround Portfolio showing product catalog or brochure work Please include in your proposal How many products can you input per hour into a prepared template?
