Independent CPA Needed for Small Nonprofit Financial Review

Rebuild Yourself, Inc., a Florida 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with annual revenue under $100,000, is seeking an independent Certified Public Accountant to complete a formal review of our financial statements for the year ending December 31, 2025. This Financial Review is required under an Orange County funding contract. Reimbursement payments are currently on hold until the completed review is submitted, so we are looking for a CPA who can begin promptly. Our financial information and supporting records are maintained in QuickBooks and will be made available to the selected CPA. We can also provide bank statements, grant agreements, payroll records, prior financial statements, IRS filings, and other requested documentation. This must be a formal financial statement review conducted in accordance with applicable AICPA standards. We are not requesting a compilation, bookkeeping review, tax return review, or full financial audit. Required deliverables: • Formal financial statement review conducted by an independent CPA • Signed Independent Accountant’s Review Report • Reviewed financial statements and related notes for the required fiscal year • One complete PDF suitable for submission to Orange County The selected CPA must: • Hold an active CPA license • Be independent of Rebuild Yourself, Inc. • Be legally permitted to provide services to a Florida nonprofit • Have experience completing financial statement reviews for nonprofit organizations • Be familiar with QuickBooks • Clearly understand the difference between a formal review and a compilation • Be available to complete the engagement as soon as reasonably possible
