Indonesia B2B Outreach & Partnership Consultant – EV Charging

We are seeking an experienced Indonesia-based B2B outreach and partnership development consultant to help us rapidly connect with potential local investment and operating partners for public EV charging stations. This is an initial 2–3 week market-validation pilot in Greater Jakarta. Our primary objective is to complete approximately 10 qualified conversations with potential partners, learn how they evaluate the opportunity, understand their concerns, build early relationships, and validate our partnership and franchise rules. This is not a desk-research or contact-list-building assignment. We need someone who can personally identify appropriate prospects, communicate with them in Bahasa Indonesia, establish credibility, secure meetings, support the conversations, and follow up professionally. Target profiles may include - Business owners and private investors interested in new operating opportunities - Commercial property, hotel, mall, restaurant, parking facility, petrol station, or retail-chain owners - Automotive, electrical, solar, construction, property, logistics, and energy-sector entrepreneurs - Existing franchisees, franchise investors, and people with experience investing in physical business locations Other individuals or companies with suitable capital, locations, operating resources, or relevant local networks 【Responsibilities】 1. Refine the target-partner profile with us. 2. Prepare culturally appropriate Bahasa Indonesia outreach messages and call scripts. 3. Identify and qualify potential investment or operating partners. 4. Conduct outreach through phone calls, WhatsApp, LinkedIn, email, warm introductions, and relevant personal networks. 5. Follow up persistently and professionally. 6. Arrange approximately 10 completed qualified interviews within 2–3 weeks. 7. Join important online or in-person meetings in Greater Jakarta. 8. Provide live or consecutive Bahasa Indonesia–English interpretation when required. 9. Submit concise English notes within 24 hours after each interview. 10. Maintain a transparent outreach pipeline showing prospects contacted, responses, qualification status, meetings, objections, and next steps. 11. Support follow-up with promising potential partners after the initial interview. 【Definition of a qualified interview】 An interview will count toward the target when: - The participant fits a target profile agreed upon in advance. - The participant is an owner, investor, decision-maker, or senior person capable of materially influencing an investment decision. - The participant has a credible interest in investing in, operating, providing a location for, or otherwise participating in an EV charging-station business. - The actual conversation lasts approximately 30 minutes or longer. - The consultant provides interpretation when needed. - An English meeting summary and recommended next step are submitted within 24 hours. - The prospect is not an existing lead already being actively followed by our local operating partner. A raw contact, unanswered introduction, unqualified respondent, cancelled meeting, or no-show will not count as a completed qualified interview. 【Required qualifications】 - Currently based in Indonesia, preferably Greater Jakarta - Native or fully professional Bahasa Indonesia - Fluent spoken and written English - Demonstrated experience in B2B business development, partnership outreach, appointment setting, investment-related business development, or consultative sales - Comfortable contacting and speaking with Indonesian business owners and senior decision-makers - Able to attend in-person meetings across Greater Jakarta - Strong follow-up, coordination, interpretation, and English reporting skills - Available to start immediately 【Strong advantages】 - An existing network among business owners, property owners, franchise investors, high-value sales clients, automotive companies, solar/electrical contractors, commercial-property operators, or private investors - Experience helping a foreign company enter or validate the Indonesian market - Experience in EV charging, renewable energy, automotive, commercial property, infrastructure, franchising, insurance, wealth management, or investment-related sales - Mandarin Chinese ability 【Compensation】 The total fixed-price budget for the initial pilot is up to USD 1,500. Our proposed structure is: - USD 750 base fee for target mapping, outreach preparation, prospect identification, qualification, active outreach, follow-up, coordination, and pipeline reporting - USD 75 for each completed qualified interview - Target: approximately 10 qualified interviews within 2–3 weeks - Maximum pilot compensation: USD 1,500 The final milestone structure can be agreed upon with the selected consultant before the contract begins. Reasonable local transportation expenses for approved in-person meetings in Greater Jakarta may be reimbursed separately through Upwork. All travel expenses must be agreed upon in advance and supported by receipts. Successful completion of the pilot may lead to a longer-term freelance engagement covering partner development, meeting support, follow-up, and potential deal progression. 【When applying, please include】 1. Your proposed approach for completing approximately 10 qualified interviews within 2–3 weeks. 7. Whether your proposal includes local transportation or assumes separate reimbursement.
