The Role Build Intelligent Business Processes with AI Are you interested in going beyond theoretical AI use cases and building production-ready AI solutions that create measurable business value? Our client is looking for an AI Integration & Automation Engineer to help design, implement, and continuously improve intelligent business processes. You will develop AI-powered and agent-based solutions, integrate Large Language Models (LLMs) into existing system landscapes, and automate complex business processes across multiple applications and platforms. The role combines software engineering, AI engineering, system integration, and process automation. You will work closely with business and technical stakeholders, analyze requirements, design appropriate solutions, and take them through to production. The ideal candidate is pragmatic, technically strong, and comfortable taking ownership of solutions from the initial concept through implementation and operational use. Key Responsibilities Design and implement AI-powered solutions for real-world business processes. Develop and integrate AI agents and LLM-based applications. Identify opportunities for process automation and translate business requirements into technical solutions. Integrate AI solutions with existing applications, APIs, and enterprise systems. Design and implement robust API integrations and automated workflows. Develop backend components and automation services, primarily using Python. Work with Lobster Data and Lobster orchestration for integration and process automation. Integrate and leverage modern AI technologies, including Claude AI and other LLM-based solutions. Use cloud technologies, Docker, and Git as part of the development and deployment lifecycle. Evaluate new AI technologies and determine their practical applicability to business processes. Ensure that AI-powered systems are reliable, secure, maintainable, and scalable. Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams across the organization. Continuously monitor, optimize, and improve deployed solutions. Requirements 2+ years of professional experience in software development, AI engineering, automation, or a related field. Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Engineering, or a comparable qualification is preferred. Strong programming skills in Python or a comparable programming language. Practical experience with backend development and/or system integration. Good understanding of API design, REST APIs, and application integration. Experience with AI/LLM technologies and an interest in modern AI engineering approaches. Experience with cloud technologies, Docker, and Git. Ideally, practical experience with Lobster Data and Lobster orchestration. Ideally, experience working with Claude AI or comparable LLM platforms. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to understand complex business processes and translate them into pragmatic technical solutions. Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style.
