Interim HR Leader / HR Director

Interim HR Leader / HR Director (Contract) We are seeking an experienced HR leader to serve as an interim HR Director while we recruit a permanent team member. This individual will manage our existing HR team, serve as an escalation point for HR and employee-relations matters, and provide strategic HR guidance to company leadership. The ideal candidate has experience in multi-site operations, manufacturing, logistics, distribution, or other labor-intensive environments. In addition to supporting day-to-day HR operations, we are looking for someone who can assess current practices and provide recommendations to improve employee retention, engagement, leadership effectiveness, recruiting, onboarding, and overall organizational performance. Primary Responsibilities Lead and support the HR team Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership Handle escalated employee relations matters Review HR programs, policies, and processes Identify opportunities to reduce turnover and improve retention Recommend best practices for performance management, training, and employee engagement Help ensure continuity while a permanent HR leader is recruited
