Interior Designer – Modern Luxury Home

We are looking for an experienced and highly creative Interior Designer to design and execute a modern luxury home in Chandigarh. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working closely with an architect, understanding architectural drawings in detail, and translating them into refined, functional, and high-end interior spaces. Strong coordination between design intent, drawings, and on-site execution is essential. We are seeking someone with a strong understanding of contemporary, modern, and sophisticated residential interiors, with an exceptional eye for detail, materials, finishes, lighting, furniture, and overall aesthetics. Key Responsibilities * Collaborate closely with the architect to understand drawings, layouts, and design intent. * Develop the complete interior design concept for a modern luxury residence. * Design living spaces, bedrooms, kitchen, bathrooms, entertainment room, bar, gym, and other areas. * Prepare layouts, mood boards, 3D visualizations, material selections, and detailed drawings. * Interpret architectural drawings and convert them into detailed interior execution plans. * Select premium materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, fixtures, and accessories. * Coordinate with architects, contractors, carpenters, electricians, vendors, and other consultants. * Conduct regular site visits and oversee execution to ensure the design is delivered to the highest standard. * Manage design detailing, site coordination, and execution-related issues. * Ensure consistency between approved drawings, materials, workmanship, and final execution. Candidate Requirements * 5+ years of experience in interior design. * Must have proven experience designing modern luxury homes. * Strong ability to read, understand, and work with architectural drawings. * Only candidates with a strong portfolio of luxury residential projects will be considered. * Experience with high-end materials, custom furniture, premium lighting, and luxury finishes. * Strong knowledge of modern and contemporary design. * Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D Max, Revit, or similar software. * Excellent understanding of construction details and on-site execution. * Strong communication, coordination, and project-management skills. * Exceptional attention to detail and a high standard for quality.
