Upwork Job Title 3D Interior Designer Required for Professional Office Fit-Out — 3D Modeling, Interior Design & High-Quality Architectural Renders --- Job Description I am looking for an experienced 3D Interior Designer / Architectural Visualizer to develop a complete 3D interior design package for a professional corporate office fit-out. The work will be based on the latest architectural floor plans, dimensions, site information and design requirements that will be provided. The objective is to first establish the overall design language and spatial planning, then progressively develop each area into detailed 3D models and final architectural renders. This is not simply a rendering job. The designer must be capable of understanding architectural drawings, developing accurate 3D models, proposing suitable interior finishes and furniture, coordinating joinery, and producing realistic architectural visualization. Important Confidentiality The project name, company/client name and individual names associated with the project are confidential. Please do not use, publish, display, upload or share any project images, drawings, renders or information in your portfolio, social media or elsewhere without written permission. --- OVERALL DESIGN DIRECTION 1. The main entrance and reception should feel visually connected. Reception, entrance, visitor and common areas should generally use parquet / wood-look flooring in beige or natural wood tones. 2. Furniture The designer is expected to propose suitable furniture and upholstery options within the 3D designs. Furniture should have: Executive/professional appearance Light/neutral upholstery Warm wood/beige elements Consistent furniture family Colours compatible with the overall internal-office design The client should be able to review the complete combination of joinery + furniture + flooring + walls + lighting, rather than reviewing joinery alone. --- DESIGN REFERENCE The client has provided photographs of an existing meeting room as an aesthetic reference. The general design direction is: Warm beige / neutral palette Natural/light wood Darker grey carpet Premium executive-office appearance Wood wall panelling Neutral painted walls Integrated TV/media wall Built-in cabinetry/display elements Clean architectural detailing Recessed and indirect lighting Light/neutral furniture The reference is intended to establish the design language and material direction, not to be copied directly. The models/renders must allow us to properly assess: Joinery Proportions Furniture placement Circulation Finishes Branding Lighting Functionality Buildability --- DESIGN DEVELOPMENT PROCESS — IMPORTANT The following process must be followed for every milestone: STEP 1 — 3D MODEL / BLOCKING Develop and submit the model before detailed rendering: Room geometry Walls/partitions Doors Windows Ceiling heights Furniture positions Major cabinetry Reception elements Ceiling elements STEP 2 — MODEL REVIEW I will review the 3D model and provide comments. Please coordinate: Floor plans Room dimensions Door locations Window locations Ceiling heights MEP information where available DB locations Existing architectural conditions Where dimensions are missing, inconsistent or critical, do not simply assume them. Flag them for confirmation before finalizing the affected design/joinery. The designer must check that: Doors can physically operate Cabinets do not obstruct doors/windows Furniture has practical circulation clearance TV mounting locations are practical Full-height cabinets terminate correctly at the ceiling DB access remains possible after concealment Concealed toilet access remains functional Glass partitions follow the confirmed 1.2 m frosting line Joinery proportions are practical for fabrication The final design is buildable and not merely visually attractive --- REQUIRED DESIGNER SKILLS The ideal freelancer should have strong experience in: Interior design Office interior design 3D architectural visualization 3D modeling Joinery/cabinet design Furniture selection Material coordination Architectural drawings Realistic interior rendering Commercial/corporate office projects Experience with 3ds Max, SketchUp, Revit, Rhino, Blender, V-Ray, Corona, Enscape, D5, Lumion or similar software is acceptable. The specific software is less important than the quality and accuracy of the final work. --- IMPORTANT PAYMENT & DELIVERY STRUCTURE The total project budget is divided into three milestones based on priority: Milestone Priority Scope Budget Milestone 1 Highest Entrance + Main Reception + Executive Reference Office USD 100 Milestone 2 Second Finance Manager + Accountant + MPO USD 75 Milestone 3 Third Engineering + Plotter + Conference + Secretary + Waiting + Coffee + Safe Room USD 75 TOTAL USD 250 Each milestone includes: 3D Modeling → Model Submission → Client Review → Revisions → Design Development → Material/Furniture Development → Final Renders The milestone should only be considered complete once the respective scope has gone through the above process and the agreed client comments have been incorporated. --- WHAT I EXPECT FROM THE FREELANCER Please do not start by immediately producing polished renders. First, I need to see the 3D model/blocking for review. Once the model and spatial arrangement are reviewed and the required changes are made, proceed with the detailed design and final renders. I am looking for someone who can contribute design judgment, not just execute instructions. Where appropriate, propose better solutions for furniture, materials, lighting, joinery and space planning while respecting the overall design direction. The final result must be professional, realistic, consistent and practical for actual interior fit-out execution. Please include examples of your corporate office interiors, executive offices, reception areas and commercial interior 3D visualization work when applying.
