Intermediate Full-Stack Software Developer / AWS & DevOps

Opportunity We’re looking for an Intermediate Full-Stack Software Developer with AWS and DevOps experience to join our growing team in a permanent role. In this position, your initial focus will be supporting, maintaining, and adding enhancements to a web-based Dialer platform. The Dialer platform supports the daily operations of small to medium-sized outbound call centers and includes functionality for lead management, campaign execution, agent workflows, reporting, and operational oversight. You’ll work across the full technology stack using Next.js, NestJS, and MongoDB, while also helping manage the AWS environment, deployment processes, monitoring, and overall application reliability. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working across frontend, backend, infrastructure, and operations. Responsibilities Full-Stack Development: ● Design, develop, and maintain frontend applications using React and Next.js ● Build and maintain backend services and APIs using Node.js, NestJS, or similar frameworks ● Create responsive and intuitive user interfaces ● Work with RESTful APIs to support application functionality and integrations ● Work with MongoDB and document-based data models ● Troubleshoot and resolve issues across frontend, backend, and database layers ● Write clean, well-tested, and maintainable code ● Participate in architecture and design discussions to improve system scalability, reliability, and maintainability ● Collaborate with stakeholders to refine requirements and deliver customer-focused solutions ● Participate in code reviews and contribute to development best practices   AWS, DevOps & Application Operations: ● Support the deployment, configuration, and ongoing management of applications within AWS ● Manage and maintain cloud infrastructure required to host frontend, backend, database, and supporting services ● Assist with CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and release management ● Monitor application performance, uptime, logs, and system health ● Troubleshoot production and staging environment issues ● Support environment management across development, staging, and production ● Help implement secure configuration practices, including access controls, secrets management, and environment variables ● Support backup, recovery, and operational readiness practices ● Identify opportunities to improve deployment reliability, observability, scalability, and maintainability ● Document infrastructure, deployment steps, and operational processes Job Qualifications You don’t need to meet every requirement below. Requirements ● 3+ years of professional software development experience ● Experience building modern web applications using React and Next.js ● Experience developing backend applications using Node.js and NestJS or similar frameworks ● Experience working with MongoDB and document-based database design ● Strong understanding of RESTful API design and implementation ● Experience with Git-based development workflows ● Experience deploying and supporting web applications in AWS or similar cloud environments ● Familiarity with common AWS services used for web application hosting, storage, networking, monitoring, or deployment ● Experience with CI/CD pipelines, deployment workflows, and environment management ● Understanding of authentication, authorization, and web application security best practices ● Ability to troubleshoot and debug issues across the full application stack, including frontend, backend, database, and cloud infrastructure ● Strong understanding of software design principles and clean coding practices Nice to Have (but not required) ● Experience developing SaaS products ● Experience working with call center, CRM, telephony, or contact center platforms ● Familiarity with SIP, PBX systems, VoIP technologies, or call routing concepts ● Experience with real-time web technologies such as WebSockets ● Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, AWS CDK, CloudFormation, or similar ● Experience with Docker or containerized application deployments ● Experience with application monitoring, logging, alerting, and production support practices ● Experience building reporting dashboards and analytics interfaces Soft Skills ● Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking ● Clear and thoughtful communication with technical and non-technical team members ● Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in a small team ● Attention to detail and pride in code quality ● Adaptability in a fast-moving environment ● Good organizational and time-management skills ● Willingness to take ownership of tasks and drive them to completion
