Interviewer for E-commerce Seller Interviews

We’re looking for a skilled interviewer to conduct online interviews with e-commerce and Amazon sellers. You’ll be talking to sellers about their business journey, strategies, challenges, and lessons learned, then turning those conversations into engaging content for our newsletter audience. What you’ll do • Conduct video or audio interviews (Zoom, Google Meet, etc.) • Prepare relevant, insightful questions tailored to each seller’s background and niche • Guide the conversation naturally while keeping it on track and engaging • Deliver a clean recording plus a written summary or transcript for our editorial team • Coordinate scheduling and follow-ups with guests professionally Requirements • Prior experience conducting interviews, podcasts, or video conversations, ideally in e-commerce, business, or entrepreneurship niches • Comfortable talking to founders and business owners, drawing out real insights rather than surface-level answers • Strong communication and active listening skills • Reliable internet connection and basic recording setup • Experience with Amazon selling or e-commerce is a strong plus, since it helps you ask sharper questions • Professional, friendly presence on camera or in audio Please include in your proposal • Links to 2 to 3 examples of interviews you’ve conducted (video, audio, or podcast) • Your experience level with Amazon or e-commerce topics • Your typical interview process, from prep to delivery • Your availability for ongoing interviews (e.g., weekly, biweekly) Nice to have • Existing network of Amazon or e-commerce sellers willing to be interviewed • Experience editing or lightly producing interview content • Familiarity with newsletter or content publishing workflows Project Type Ongoing, recurring interviews as part of a regular newsletter section Skills to tag on Upwork Interviewing, Podcast Hosting, Content Creation, E-commerce, Amazon, Video Interviewing, Newsletter Writing
