Janitorial Services Estimator

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Cleaning Estimator to help prepare accurate, competitive and profitable quotes for janitorial services throughout Halton and the western Greater Toronto Area. The ideal candidate will have direct experience in commercial cleaning operations, estimating or facilities services. Responsibilities will include reviewing quote opportunities, assessing cleaning requirements, calculating labour hours, identifying equipment and supply needs, developing service scopes and preparing clear pricing recommendations. The estimator may also attend local site visits with the owner to assess offices, warehouses, industrial facilities, washrooms, common areas, floor types and specialty-cleaning requirements. This is a flexible, part-time contract opportunity for someone who understands that successful janitorial estimating requires more than calculating square footage. Quotes must reflect realistic production rates, labour costs, service frequency, travel, supplies, equipment, overhead and profit margin. Candidates should be organized, responsive, comfortable working independently and able to communicate concerns when a potential contract has unrealistic expectations or weak profit potential. Applicants located within driving distance of Halton or the western GTA are preferred. Remote candidates will be considered only if they have direct commercial janitorial estimating experience.
