Japanese SEO Specialist & Native Content Writer

We are looking for a native Japanese SEO Specialist and Content Writer to support ongoing SEO and content projects for the Japanese market. The content is highly technical and B2B-focused, covering topics related to industrial gases, engineering, manufacturing processes, energy, sustainability, electronics, healthcare applications, and other industrial and scientific sectors. The ideal candidate is a native Japanese speaker with strong experience in both SEO and professional content writing, and who is comfortable researching and writing accurately about complex technical subjects. Responsibilities Conduct Japanese keyword research based on search intent, relevance, and business potential. Perform on-page SEO optimization for existing and new pages. Optimize title tags, meta descriptions, headings, keyword targeting, internal linking, image alt text, and overall page structure. Write and edit high-quality technical content in natural, native Japanese. Adapt English source material into Japanese when required, ensuring the final content feels locally written rather than directly translated. Review existing Japanese content for grammar, terminology, technical clarity, readability, and SEO. Optimize articles and landing pages for both traditional search engines and AI search/AEO. Research technical topics carefully and avoid unsupported or overly broad claims. Conduct competitor and SERP research when necessary. Requirements Native Japanese speaker — essential. Proven professional experience in Japanese SEO. Strong professional writing skills in Japanese. Experience with keyword research and on-page optimization. Ability to understand and accurately communicate technical, industrial, engineering, or scientific topics. Excellent understanding of Japanese search behavior and local search intent. Ability to produce natural Japanese that does not sound translated or AI-generated. Strong attention to terminology, factual accuracy, and detail. Comfortable following detailed SEO and editorial guidelines. Previous experience writing about industrial gases, manufacturing, engineering, energy, chemicals, electronics, healthcare, sustainability, or similar B2B technical industries would be a strong advantage.
