Java Certified Instructor Needed – Record Course Lessons and Labs Summary We are looking for an experienced Java Certified Instructor to deliver and record a complete beginner-to-intermediate training course covering Java programming, object-oriented programming (OOP), core Java, collections, exception handling, file I/O, multithreading, JDBC, and modern Java application development. Required Qualifications The ideal candidate should have: * Strong hands-on experience with Java programming and the Java platform. * Experience developing applications using modern Java (Java 17 or later preferred). * Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, collections, generics, exception handling, streams, lambdas, multithreading, and JDBC. * Experience using IntelliJ IDEA, Eclipse, or another Java IDE, along with Maven or Gradle and Git. * One or more recognized Java industry certifications such as Oracle Certified Professional (OCP), Oracle Certified Associate (OCA), Oracle Certified Foundations Associate, or equivalent Java certifications (preferred). * Excellent spoken and written English with a clear, professional presentation style. * Previous experience teaching Java programming in instructor-led training, online classes, boot camps, or corporate training environments. * Experience recording professional training videos using Zoom, Microsoft Teams, or Google Meet. Project Scope The course materials have already been developed and include: * 20 presentation-based lessons (approximately 20 slides per lesson). * A hands-on lab for each lesson. * Instructor guide with presentation notes and teaching recommendations. * Detailed speaker/transcript notes within the presentation slides. * Complete solved lab guide for reference. The instructor’s responsibility is to: 1. Deliver and record all 20 lessons. 2. Deliver and record all 20 corresponding lab demonstrations. 3. Use the provided course materials as the foundation for instruction. 4. Demonstrate Java programming concepts through practical coding examples and hands-on exercises. 5. Guide learners through progressively more advanced programming concepts that build toward a complete capstone application. 6. Present the content clearly and professionally, as if teaching a live classroom. Recording Requirements * Record each lesson using Zoom, Microsoft Teams, or Google Meet. * Average lesson recording: 30 minutes. * Average lab recording: 30 minutes. Total expected recordings: * 20 lesson recordings. * 20 lab recordings. Total expected recording time: approximately 20 hours. Content Review and Quality Assurance During delivery, the instructor should review all provided materials for technical accuracy and instructional quality. If any issues are identified, the instructor should: * Correct technical inaccuracies. * Improve unclear explanations where appropriate. * Update the presentation slides if necessary. * Update the lab guide if corrections are required. * Validate that all Java source code, programming exercises, Maven or Gradle projects, JDBC examples, and lab demonstrations function correctly. * Submit the corrected versions along with the final recordings. Deliverables The final project should include: * 20 recorded lesson videos. * 20 recorded lab demonstration videos. * Updated PowerPoint slides (if changes are required). * Updated lab guide (if changes are required). * Notes describing any corrections or improvements made to the course materials. Trial Lesson Before awarding the full project, the selected candidate will be asked to complete: * One sample lesson recording. * One sample lab recording. The sample will be evaluated for: * Technical accuracy. * Java programming expertise. * English communication skills. * Teaching effectiveness. * Professional presentation style. * Audio and video quality. Successful completion of the sample lesson will lead to contracting for the full project.
