Jewelry CAD Designer — Lost-Wax Casting Specialist (project-based, not full-time) Italian goldsmith workshop (Vicenza) specialized in sterling silver 925 and gold, contract manufacturer for jewelry brands, looking for a CAD modeler SPECIALIZED IN JEWELRY for product development support, on a per-project/per-piece basis (not fixed full-time hours). Mandatory requirements: - Proven experience in CAD modeling for jewelry intended for lost-wax casting (NOT generic product/furniture/automotive design) - Software: Rhino + RhinoGold or MatrixGold - Practical knowledge of: casting shrinkage, minimum wall thickness, undercut rules for moulds, stone-setting geometries - Portfolio of REAL cast/produced pieces (not just renders) — required before any assignment Not required: experience in other 3D design fields (furniture, automotive, architecture) as a substitute for specific jewelry experience. Collaboration: payment per piece/model, not fixed hourly rate. A technical guidelines document will be provided (wall thickness, shrinkage %, undercut rules, prong dimensions). First assignment = paid test on a medium-complexity piece, verified with resin print + real casting, before any real client work is assigned.
