Jewelry 3D CAD (Rhino/MatrixGold) + Photorealistic Rendering Specialist (Ecommerce/Amazon)
Worldwide
We are hiring a 3D Jewelry Visualization Specialist to transform our existing jewelry CAD files into photorealistic ecommerce product imagery and 360° videos for Seona crystal stud earrings, sold on Amazon and seona.com. The CAD models are already provided. This is primarily a rendering, lighting, materials, composition, and product-visualization role — not a jewelry CAD modeling role. The goal is simple: the final output should look like professional studio product photography, not a 3D render. You will work across a large collection of crystal colors, sizes, and metal finishes, so the ability to establish a controlled visual system and reproduce it consistently across many variants is critical. CORE DELIVERABLES (PER SKU / VARIANT) 1. 3 product images (hero image, 2 angled images) 2. 1 on ear 3. 1 × 360° rotation video 4. 1 in white background / 1 in #f8f8f8 background CORE DELIVERABLES (PER COLLECTION) 1. on ear size comparison THE STANDARD We are not looking for images that simply look "realistic." The finished product must convincingly replicate real jewelry photography. A viewer should not immediately be able to tell that the image was rendered in 3D. Non-Negotiable Quality Standards 1. Product accuracy - Existing CAD geometry must be preserved accurately - Correct proportions and physical scale - Correct crystal dimensions and placement - Accurate representation of the setting, prongs, post, and backing - No artificially enlarged or distorted components 2. Crystal realism - Accurate crystal color -Crisp, readable facets - Natural refraction and internal reflections - Realistic interaction between light and the crystal - No excessive glow, bloom, or artificial sparkle - No plastic or glass-like CGI appearance Metal realism - Accurate metal finish - Controlled, natural reflections - Realistic highlight rolloff - No overly polished or mirror-like CGI appearance - Metal should behave like photographed jewelry Photography realism - Professional studio lighting - Natural contact shadows - Realistic reflection behavior - Consistent camera perspective - Consistent product scale - Clean background - No unnecessary effects or stylization THE 4 REQUIRED IMAGES (SHOT LIST) - Main Hero: centered, minimal shadow, product fills ~80–85% of frame - Angled View 1: 30–45°, shows setting depth + prongs + lock/back - Angled View 2: front and back, shows setting depth + prongs + lock/back - On-Ear (True-to-Size): accurate placement, minimal styling 1 universal photo: On-Ear Size Comparison (True-to-Size) RESPONSIBILITIES 1. 3D Scene & Rendering - Import and work from our existing jewelry CAD files - Prepare existing models for rendering - Build and maintain a locked studio scene - Establish consistent camera positions and focal lengths - Establish consistent lighting setups - Create physically accurate crystal and metal materials - Match approved crystal colors precisely - Maintain consistent visual treatment across all variants - Produce photorealistic ecommerce images - Produce 360° product rotation videos - Product Photography Simulation You should have a strong understanding of how real jewelry behaves under studio photography. You will be responsible for controlling: - Light direction - Highlight placement - Reflection intensity - Shadow density - Crystal refraction - Facet readability - Metal response - Camera perspective - Product-to-frame scale - Depth and dimensionality The objective is to recreate the visual behavior of a real photographed product, not simply apply realistic materials to a 3D model. Variant Production We have multiple crystal colors, sizes, and finishes. You will need to: - Reproduce the same photographic setup across variants - Adjust materials appropriately for different crystal colors - Maintain consistent exposure and lighting - Maintain consistent product scale - Ensure colors remain accurate and distinguishable - Identify and correct inconsistencies between variants - Produce high-volume outputs without quality degradation File Management - Maintain clean scene files - Use clear naming conventions - Keep master scenes organized - Maintain version control - Organize source files, renders, and final exports - Ensure assets can be efficiently updated and re-rendered - Surrender all files and settings once contract is done Collaboration - Communicate daily with the team - Maintain approximately 3 hours of working-hour overlap with Eastern Time - Implement feedback accurately - Proactively identify visual inconsistencies - Work independently with minimal supervision REQUIREMENTS - Strong professional experience in photorealistic product rendering - Strong experience rendering jewelry, gemstones, crystals, or other highly reflective products - Excellent understanding of studio lighting and material behavior - Proven ability to create realistic crystal and gemstone materials - Proven ability to create realistic metal materials - Strong understanding of camera perspective and product photography - Ability to maintain visual consistency across large product collections - Ability to accurately reproduce true product scale - High attention to detail - Strong file organization - Able to work independently with minimal supervision - Comfortable working at high volume Strongly Preferred - Jewelry rendering experience - Ecommerce product photography experience - Experience with Amazon product imagery - Experience with crystal or gemstone products - Experience creating 360° product videos - Experience working from existing CAD rather than creating models from scratch SOFTWARE We are open to any software. Use whichever workflow produces the required quality. Examples include: Blender KeyShot Cinema 4D 3ds Max V-Ray Corona Redshift Octane Cycles Photoshop After Effects / Premiere Pro The software is not the deciding factor. The final image quality is. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR The most important distinction: We are not hiring someone simply because they can render a 3D model. We are looking for someone who can take an existing jewelry model and make it look like it was photographed by a professional product photographer. You should be able to look at a render and identify when: - The earring looks too flat - The crystal does not have enough depth - Facets are not catching light correctly - The metal looks like chrome or plastic - Reflections are too strong - The shadow is artificial - The product scale is incorrect - The camera perspective feels wrong - The lighting is inconsistent - A crystal color does not match the physical reference - The image looks "CGI" rather than photographic You should also be able to diagnose and correct those problems yourself, rather than requiring detailed instructions for every adjustment. HOW TO APPLY All of the following are required: 1. Portfolio Provide a portfolio showing your best photorealistic product rendering work. Your portfolio should include, where possible: White-background hero product photography Macro product imagery Reflective metal products Crystal, gemstone, glass, or similarly complex materials Wearable/on-body or on-ear product imagery Multiple variants of the same product Jewelry work is strongly preferred. 2. Rendering Workflow Tell us: 3D software used Rendering engine used Post-production software used How you approach realistic crystal/gemstone materials How you approach realistic metal reflections 3. Production Capacity Confirm that you can deliver: 4 images + 1 × 360° rotation video per SKU / variant. Include your estimated turnaround time for a typical SKU. 4. Availability Confirm: Approximately 3 hours of daily overlap with Eastern Time 5. Hardware Provide your computer specifications: CPU GPU RAM Storage 6. Relevant Experience Briefly describe your experience with: Product rendering Jewelry/gemstone rendering Ecommerce imagery High-volume variant production Working from existing CAD files Please submit only relevant portfolio work. Generic architectural renders, environments, characters, or unrelated 3D work will not be considered a substitute for photorealistic product visualization.
