Jira Content Creator for Video Guides, Shorts and Promotional Videos

We are looking for a freelance content creator with strong Jira knowledge to help us produce professional video content for a Jira Marketplace app. This is a project-based freelance role rather than a full-time position. We expect to collaborate on individual videos or small batches of videos as needed. 1. Types of content You will help us create: - Product tutorials and step-by-step video guides - Short educational videos for YouTube (Shorts) - Product feature demonstrations - Promotional and release announcement videos - Use-case videos showing how Jira users can solve specific reporting or project management problems - Voice-over videos based on product recordings, screenshots or prepared materials 2. Responsibilities Your work will include: - Understanding a Jira feature or use case - Creating or improving the video concept and script - Recording Jira and app workflows - Explaining features clearly and accurately - Editing screen recordings - Adding voice-over, captions, callouts, transitions and simple animations - Adapting longer videos into short social media clips - Delivering the final video in the required formats We can provide product access, documentation, feature descriptions and guidance from our product team. However, we are looking for someone who can understand the product and work with a reasonable level of independence. 3. Requirements - Good practical knowledge of Jira - Experience creating software tutorials, product demos or SaaS promotional videos - Strong video editing skills - Ability to explain technical features in a simple and engaging way - Good written and spoken English - Attention to detail, especially when demonstrating product workflows - Ability to follow brand and visual guidelines - Reliable communication and ability to meet agreed deadlines Experience with Jira Marketplace apps, Atlassian products, reporting tools or project management software is necessary. Please do not apply if you are only a video editor and have never worked with Jira. Understanding the product and its users is an important part of this role. 4. We may begin with one paid test project and continue working together on future videos if the collaboration is successful.
