KiCad Schematic and PCB Design: ESP32-S3, CAN, LIN, GNSS
Worldwide
I need an individual hardware engineer / PCB designer to develop a schematic and PCB layout for a compact automotive ESP32-S3 device. The full technical specification is attached. Scope of work: - schematic design; - PCB layout; - component placement and routing; - PCB prepared for full potting/encapsulation in compound; - BOM with manufacturer part numbers; - KiCad editable source files; - schematic PDF; - PCB layout PDF; - Gerber or ODB++; - drill files; - pick-and-place / centroid file; - assembly drawing; - GPIO assignment table; - DNP assembly variants; - ERC and DRC check. This project is design only. Not required: - PCB manufacturing; - component purchasing; - PCB assembly; - firmware development; - enclosure design; - automotive certification; - EMC testing; - testing of a physical prototype. Fixed main components: - ESP32-S3-WROOM-1; - SN65HVD233-Q1 CAN transceiver; - SN65HVDA100-Q1 LIN transceiver; - u-blox MAX-M10S GNSS receiver; - LM61495-Q1 3.3 V DC/DC converter. Required functionality: - automotive power input: 11–15 V; - CAN 2.0B; - LIN slave or passive monitoring only; - GNSS connected through a soldered 50-ohm coaxial cable; - one protected analog/control input SIG_IN: open circuit, GND, automotive positive voltage, or intermediate analog voltage; - CAN common-mode choke footprint as a DNP option; - CAN 120-ohm termination controlled by an external cuttable wire loop; - separate BOOT and RESET push buttons connected by wires; - one status LED soldered on the PCB; - all automotive connections must be soldered wires; - no board-mounted vehicle connectors; - USB-C is needed only on an unpotted test-board version; - the final board will be fully potted in compound. The component list and functional requirements are fixed in the attached technical specification. Please apply only if you are an individual freelancer with real experience in: - KiCad; - ESP32 hardware design; - CAN and LIN interfaces; - automotive 12 V power input protection; - switching DC/DC converters; - GNSS modules and 50-ohm RF layout; - 2-layer or 4-layer PCB design. Please include in your proposal: 1. One or two relevant PCB examples. 2. Confirmation that you are an individual freelancer, not an agency. 3. Confirmation that you can deliver the complete editable KiCad source project. 4. Your fixed total price for the complete scope. 5. Delivery time in calendar days. 6. Confirmation that all design files and IP rights are transferred to me on delivery.
