Kitchen and Bath Designer Job Summary A small U.S. based firm is looking for a Kitchen and Bath Designer to provide exceptional interior design services to our clients. Depending on the client, you may work on remodeling projects to update an existing home or start from scratch to create a custom interior design for a commercial space. Our ideal candidate knows the intricacies of bath and kitchen design projects, including the details of cabinet making and flooring installation. Having product knowledge of various materials, appliances, lighting fixtures, and finishes are also preferable. The ideal candidate would work opposite hours of the United States to provide quick turn around on projects based on physical drawings to convert to 2020 Design Live. Ad / hoc meetings will take place in your morning or late afternoons depending on your time zone work location. Working U.S. hours is not required. Kitchen and Bath Designer Duties and Responsibilities Collaborate with business owner, clients and use design software to create a kitchen or bath interior designs Help clients choose various materials Provide an estimate for the project Work with contractors and tradespeople to build out the design Keep clients updated and informed regarding any plan changes or delays in progress Kitchen and Bath Designer Requirements and Qualifications Associate or bachelor’s degree in interior design Proficiency in using 2020 Design Live software to design projects A portfolio of past work Strong design skills Excellent communication and listening skills Deal closing or sales experience is a plus
