Klaviyo and SMS Marketing Spcialist

GreatNight is an Atlanta-based social discovery app that helps people find events, make plans, and connect in real life. We’re seeking an experienced Klaviyo specialist to build and manage automated email and SMS campaigns that keep our users engaged and informed about what’s happening in the city. Responsibilities: Set up and optimize Klaviyo email and SMS campaigns Create a repeatable weekly newsletter featuring curated events, app updates, promotions, and community highlights Build automated flows for onboarding, engagement, event reminders, reactivation, and rewards Segment users based on location, interests, behavior, and engagement Create reusable, mobile-friendly campaign templates Monitor deliverability, open rates, click-through rates, conversions, and unsubscribes Test messaging, subject lines, timing, and audience segments to improve performance Ensure email and SMS campaigns follow applicable consent and compliance requirements Ideal candidate: Proven experience managing both email and SMS marketing in Klaviyo Strong understanding of automation, segmentation, analytics, and deliverability Experience with consumer apps, events, entertainment, hospitality, or local businesses is a plus Able to combine strategy with hands-on campaign execution Strong copywriting and project-management skills This is initially a contract opportunity with the potential for an ongoing relationship.
