Kubernetes Engineer

****US Citizen Only**** We are looking for a skilled Kubernetes Engineer with strong DevOps expertise and hands-on Bash scripting experience to design, deploy, and manage containerized infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of Kubernetes orchestration, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure automation, with a passion for building reliable, scalable systems. Key Responsibilities Design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes clusters across development, staging, and production environments Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment workflows Write and maintain Bash scripts for automation, monitoring, and system administration tasks Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, Helm, or Ansible Monitor cluster health, performance, and resource utilization; troubleshoot and resolve issues Manage container orchestration, networking, load balancing, and storage within Kubernetes Implement and maintain logging, monitoring, and alerting solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.) Ensure security best practices across containers, clusters, and pipelines (RBAC, secrets management, image scanning) Collaborate with development teams to optimize application deployment and containerization strategies Support incident response, root cause analysis, and disaster recovery planning Maintain documentation for infrastructure, processes, and runbooks Required Skills & Qualifications Proven experience as a Kubernetes Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or similar role Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes (deployment, scaling, networking, troubleshooting) Solid Bash scripting skills for automation and system tasks Experience with containerization tools (Docker, containerd) Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, etc.) Working knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Helm, Ansible) Understanding of Linux system administration Knowledge of monitoring/logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack) Familiarity with version control systems (Git) Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
