Landscape Designer Needed – Existing Design Amendments + Full 3D Visualisation

I’m looking for an experienced landscape designer / landscape architect with strong 3D visualisation skills to further develop an existing residential landscape design for my home in Brisbane, Australia. I already have a professionally prepared landscape concept package including: * Detailed landscape concept/site plan * Material palette * Plant palette The overall concept is already established and I’m generally happy with the direction. I am not looking to redesign the entire property from scratch. I have several changes I want to make and would like someone to take the existing concept, work through those changes with me, and develop it into a complete landscape design and visualisation package. Design Direction The overall look I’m after is a high-end coastal/resort style suited to Brisbane, with a relaxed family outdoor-living feel. The design should consider the property as a whole, including: * Pool and pool surrounds * Alfresco and outdoor dining * Outdoor kitchen/BBQ * Firepit and seating * Lawn and entertaining areas * Front, rear and side landscaping * Fencing and privacy screening * Retaining * Sheds and storage * Paths and circulation * Coastal planting * Landscape lighting * Materials and finishes * Views from inside the home * Flow between the different outdoor spaces * Day and night appearance * Low-maintenance solutions I’m also open to good design suggestions where you see opportunities to improve the existing concept. 1. Concept Design & Amendments Review the existing plans and work with me to make the required changes. Provide an updated colour CAD landscape concept/master plan showing the revised design, proposed plants, products and materials. I would like at least two rounds of amendments included so we can refine the design before finalising it. 2. Coastal Planting Design Review and redesign the existing planting scheme into a cohesive coastal/resort planting palette suitable for Brisbane conditions. This should include: * Planting plan * Plant locations * Species * Quantities * Plant schedule * Image palette * Screening/privacy planting * Feature trees/plants * Groundcovers and lower planting * Consideration of mature plant sizes * Low-maintenance selections I want the planting to be an important part of the overall design rather than something added at the end. 3. Materials & Product Selection Develop a coordinated materials and finishes palette covering relevant elements such as: * Pool surrounds/coping * Tiles and paving * Stone * Timber * Screens * Fencing * Retaining * Outdoor kitchen finishes * Garden edging * Pots/features * Other key landscape materials Products and materials should also be represented accurately in the 3D model where practical. 4. Full 3D Model & Renders Once the revised concept is agreed, I want the entire property modelled in 3D. I’m looking for approximately 20+ high-quality render images showing the property from multiple viewpoints. This should include a combination of: * Daytime scenes * Evening/night scenes * Pool and surrounds * Alfresco/outdoor dining * Outdoor kitchen * Firepit * Lawn and entertaining areas * Front landscaping * Side areas * Coastal planting * Fencing/screens * Relevant structures and storage areas The 3D model should accurately represent the proposed landscaping, planting, materials, finishes and lighting rather than using generic landscaping simply for presentation. 5. 3D Fly-Through Provide a high-resolution fly-through/walkthrough video of the full property. The objective is to be able to understand how the different spaces connect and experience the overall landscape design before construction. 6. Detailed Landscape Plans Once the design is finalised, provide a detailed landscape drawing package including where applicable: * Detailed landscape master plan * Site/construction plan * Construction set-out and dimensions * Materials plan * Relevant sections and elevations * Details of landscape structures and garden features * Planting plan and plant schedule * Material/product image palette The documentation should provide contractors with a clear understanding of the design and how it is intended to be constructed. 7. Landscape Lighting Plan Provide a dedicated lighting design including: * Light locations * Garden/feature lighting * Path lighting * Entertaining-area lighting * Relevant pool-area lighting * Light fitting selections * Image palette * Lighting schedule The lighting should also be incorporated into the night-time 3D renders. Final Deliverables At completion I would like: * Updated colour landscape concept/master plan * Detailed landscape drawing package * Planting plan and schedule * Coastal planting image palette * Materials/product palette * Landscape lighting plan and schedule * Approximately 20+ high-resolution 3D renders * Day and night renders * High-resolution full-property 3D fly-through * PDF plans to scale * Editable/source design files * Editable 3D model/source files When Applying Please provide: 1. Examples of residential landscape plans you have personally produced. 2. Examples of your 3D landscape renders. 3. An example of a 3D walkthrough/fly-through. 4. Examples of planting, materials and lighting plans if available. 5. Examples of detailed construction drawings, sections or elevations. 6. The software you use for landscape/CAD design. 7. The software you use for 3D modelling/rendering. 8. Whether you can work from an existing PDF where the original CAD/source file is unavailable. 9. Confirmation that editable/source files can be supplied at completion. 10. Your proposed fixed price. 11. Your estimated timeframe. Please also confirm whether you can complete all aspects of the project yourself or identify any parts of the scope that you do not provide. I’m looking for someone who communicates well, has a strong design eye and can work collaboratively with me through the amendments rather than simply producing a one-off drawing or render.
