Laundry Room Redesign – Space Planning + IKEA/Home Depot Product Sourcing + 3D Design

I am looking for an experienced interior designer / space planner to redesign my existing laundry room into a modern, welcoming and highly functional laundry + storage space. Room Dimensions * Length: 10 ft * Width: 6 ft 8 in * Ceiling height: 10 ft I will provide multiple photos of the existing laundry room. Main Goal The existing washer and dryer are side-by-side. I would like to stack the washer and dryer to create additional space for storage. I am also completely open to moving the existing sink and replacing it with a smaller sink if that results in a better overall layout. The priority is to maximize storage while keeping the room clean, spacious and welcoming. Storage & Design Requirements I would like the designer to creatively explore: * Stack existing washer and dryer * Add a full-height coat closet * Dedicated enclosed storage for my Dyson cordless vacuum and Shark vacuum * Space for Dyson charging if practical * Narrow pull-out / slide-out broom and mop cabinet * Storage for laundry detergent, pods and other laundry supplies * Storage for cleaning products and household supplies * Smaller, modern laundry sink with storage underneath * Possibility of relocating the sink if it creates a better layout * Upper cabinets and/or shelving * Tall cabinets utilizing the 10-ft ceiling height * Laundry basket/hamper storage * Iron/steamer storage if space allows * Replace the existing ceiling light with something modern and attractive * Consider under-cabinet/accent lighting if appropriate * Recommend wall color, backsplash, hardware and other finishing touches I prefer closed storage/cabinetry so that the finished room looks organized rather than having many items visible on open shelving. IMPORTANT – Use Real, Purchasable Products I am specifically looking for someone experienced in designing spaces using products that I can actually purchase from stores such as: * IKEA * Home Depot * Lowe’s * The Container Store * Wayfair * Similar US retailers I do NOT want only a beautiful rendering using custom or imaginary cabinetry that will be difficult or expensive to reproduce. The final design should be practical and realistically buildable using readily available products wherever possible. Required Deliverables 1. Space Plan Dimensioned layout showing the recommended locations for washer/dryer, sink, coat closet, vacuum storage, broom storage, cabinets and other storage. 2. At Least 2 Layout Options I would like to explore different possibilities before selecting the final layout. For example: * Stack washer/dryer while keeping sink approximately where it is * Relocate/reduce the sink and reorganize the room to maximize storage * Any more creative configuration you recommend I am open to changing the current layout if there is a better solution. 3. Final 3D Renderings After we select the preferred layout, provide realistic 3D renderings from multiple angles showing the finished laundry room. 4. Project Type Fixed Price Please include your proposed fixed price and clearly state: * Number of initial layout concepts included * Number of revisions * Number of final 3D renderings * Whether dimensioned drawings are included * Whether the complete product shopping list with links is included Ideal Outcome At the end of the project, I want to have a complete plan where I can say: “These are the exact products I need to order, this is where everything goes, and these are the specific items I need a handyman, plumber or electrician to install.” I am looking for someone who combines creative interior design with practical space planning and real-world product sourcing. Since this is a relatively small room, I am especially interested in someone who can be creative with every available inch of space and make the finished laundry room feel modern, organized and welcoming.
