Lead Generation & Cold Calling Specialist for Local Businesses - Agency

We are looking for an experienced Lead Generation and Cold Calling Specialist to help us reach local businesses in the United States. The initial campaign will focus primarily on HVAC companies, with the possibility of expanding into roofing, plumbing, electrical, landscaping, and other local service industries. Our team provides website solutions for local businesses that need a new website, an improved online presence, or a more professional way to generate customer enquiries. Your Responsibilities * Research and build targeted lists of US-based HVAC businesses * Find accurate business names, websites, phone numbers, locations, and decision-maker details * Identify businesses with outdated, poorly designed, or missing websites * Make outbound calls to business owners and decision-makers * Introduce our website solution clearly and professionally * Qualify interested prospects * Book appointments for our sales team * Follow up with prospects when required * Maintain accurate call notes and lead statuses * Submit a brief daily activity report Requirements * Previous experience in B2B lead generation, cold calling, or appointment setting * Strong and professional spoken English * Experience calling US-based businesses * Ability to research and verify leads independently * Confidence speaking with business owners * Good objection-handling and follow-up skills * Experience using spreadsheets, CRMs, dialers, or lead-generation tools * Reliable internet connection, headset, and quiet working environment * Availability during US business hours Experience selling websites, digital marketing, SEO, agency services, or other services to local businesses is preferred. Compensation - $3 per hour - Up to 23 hours per week - Approximately $300 per month in base compensation - Additional bonuses for qualified appointments and closed customers - All work, communication, and payments will remain on Upwork This may begin with a short **paid trial** and continue as a long-term contract based on performance.
