The ideal candidate has strong experience in dietary supplement formulation, functional gummies, and evidence-based ingredients for skin health, hydration, collagen support, and beauty-from-within. This is a product we intend to manufacture and commercialize, not simply a theoretical formulation project. ⸻ About the Project We’re building a premium consumer wellness brand and are currently developing a new gummy supplement focused on healthy-looking, glowing and hydrated skin from within. We are looking for an experienced U.S.-based nutraceutical formulator to help us develop the final formulation. This is not simply a formulation review. We’re looking for someone who can contribute meaningful scientific expertise and collaborate with our existing formulation team to develop a best-in-class, commercially viable product. If the collaboration is successful, there is strong potential for a long-term partnership on future products. ⸻ Project Overview We have already completed extensive consumer and market research for the product. An initial formulation has also been developed by an experienced formulator. Both the research and existing formulation will be provided to the selected expert as references. However, the existing formulation is not final. We encourage you to independently evaluate the product objectives and use your own expertise to create or substantially improve the final formulation. The product should also be enjoyable enough for consumers to take consistently as a daily wellness habit. ⸻ Responsibilities * Review our consumer research, product brief, and existing formulation. * Develop or substantially improve the final formulation. * Recommend optimal ingredients, ingredient forms, and dosages. * Evaluate ingredient efficacy and scientific evidence. * Improve ingredient synergy and overall formulation strategy. * Recommend ingredients to add, remove, replace, or simplify. * Consider taste, texture, stability, shelf life, manufacturing feasibility, and cost. * Consider the practical limitations of delivering meaningful active ingredients in gummy form. * Explain the scientific reasoning behind key formulation decisions. * Collaborate with our formulation and manufacturing team throughout development. ⸻ Preferred Qualifications We’re looking for professionals who: * Are based in the United States. * Have commercial experience developing dietary supplements or nutraceutical products. * Have experience formulating gummy supplements. * Have experience with beauty-from-within, skin health, collagen, hydration, healthy aging, or related supplement categories. * Have strong knowledge of functional and evidence-based nutritional ingredients. * Understand ingredient compatibility, stability, taste, manufacturing, and regulatory considerations. * Understand the practical challenges of delivering meaningful ingredient dosages in gummy format. * Have experience working with commercial supplement manufacturers. * Can evaluate scientific literature and translate it into commercially viable formulations. * Communicate clearly and collaborate well with international teams.
