Licensed Structural and Civil Engineer

Hiring: Civil & Structural Engineer We are seeking an experienced Civil & Structural Engineer to join our growing team and support a variety of residential and commercial projects. Key Responsibilities Structural Engineering * Structural design and calculations for residential and commercial projects * Wood, steel, masonry, and concrete design * Foundations, shear walls, moment frames, beams, columns, and connections * Seismic and lateral analysis * Structural evaluation of existing buildings, additions, remodels, and tenant improvements * Preparation and review of structural drawings and calculation packages * Respond to city plan-check comments * Provide signed and sealed structural plans and calculations when required Civil Engineering * Site development and civil design * Grading plans * Drainage and stormwater design * Hydrology and hydraulic calculations * Utility plans and coordination * Sewer and water plans * Site plans and paving design * Erosion and sediment control * Stormwater management / BMP design * Preparation of civil calculations, reports, and construction documents * Respond to agency and city plan-check comments * Provide signed and sealed civil plans and calculations when required Requirements * Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred * California PE license strongly preferred * Licensure in additional U.S. states is a major plus * Strong experience with applicable building codes and jurisdictional requirements * Experience with both structural and civil design * Proficiency with AutoCAD and relevant engineering software * Ability to independently review and deliver permit-ready construction documents * Strong communication and coordination skills * Experience coordinating with architects, MEP engineers, contractors, and permitting agencies Preferred Experience * Residential and commercial projects * Restaurants, retail, and tenant improvements * Ground-up construction, additions, and remodels * Multi-state permitting and engineering projects * Experience taking projects from initial design through permitting and construction We are looking for a reliable engineer interested in a long-term opportunity with a diverse and growing project pipeline across multiple states.
