ABOUT US IntegriPet, Inc. makes EmpiriVita, a canine supplement brand. Two powder SKUs are in market: 01 Mobility (joint) and 02 Digestive (gut). Both are NASC-compliant, veterinarian reviewed, and manufactured in a US cGMP facility. We are finishing a third product, a once-daily whole-body powder for adult dogs, and we want an independent veterinarian to review the formulation before we send it to contract manufacturers for quotes. WHY THIS IS POSTED NOW Nothing has been manufactured. No packaging has been printed. The formula is locked internally but not committed, so your findings can still change ingredients, doses, cautions, and label copy. That is the entire point of the engagement. We are not looking for sign-off on a finished product and we are not buying a badge. WHAT YOU WOULD BE REVIEWING A once-daily powder for adult dogs, dosed by a body weight chart, with roughly fifteen declared lines on the Product Facts panel. Ingredient classes below; doses withheld until NDA. - Algal DHA from whole-cell Schizochytrium biomass (fish-free, no fish oil, no krill) - A dried Saccharomyces cerevisiae fermentate postbiotic with published canine trials - A Bacillus subtilis spore probiotic at a maintenance count - A slow-fermenting soluble prebiotic fiber (acacia gum) - A small vitamin and mineral layer: vitamin E, chelated zinc, selenium yeast, and the eight B vitamins. No vitamin A, D, or K, no copper, no iron, no iodine, no manganese, no choline, each by deliberate decision - Inactives: pumpkin, hydrolyzed pork liver, nutritional yeast, a rice hull flow agent, and a tocopherol and rosemary antioxidant system You will also receive our two in-market formulations, because the new product is designed to be fed alongside either one. Stacked safety on a complete and balanced diet is a central question. WHAT WE WANT FROM YOU 1. Safety. On its own, and stacked with our other formulas on top of a complete and balanced diet. 2. Dose adequacy. For every active: is the dose in a range the canine literature supports, or is it decorative? We would rather carry fewer ingredients at meaningful doses. 3. Additions, cuts, and changes. Including forms and salts, not only amounts. 4. Claims. Whether our structure and function language is defensible against what the ingredients at these doses can actually do in a healthy adult dog. 5. Cautions, contraindications, and drug interactions, including the populations that should not take it. 6. Anything a veterinarian would be uncomfortable seeing on the label or on the listing. We will hand you our own safety analysis against NRC 2006 safe upper limits, AAFCO maxima, and FEDIAF, plus an evidence dossier with DOIs and PMIDs for every active. You are not being asked to rebuild that work. You are being asked to challenge it. DELIVERABLES - A written memo with your findings and your overall verdict - A line-by-line table for every active and inactive: keep, change, or cut, with a reason and a citation where you have one - A claims review, marking each claim as supported, needs softening, or should be removed - One 45-minute call to walk through the memo Written deliverables in Word or PDF. Target turnaround two to three weeks from receipt of the package. YOU ARE A STRONG FIT IF - You are a DVM or VMD licensed in the United States and in good standing - You have worked on animal supplement or pet food formulations, or you are a board-certified veterinary nutritionist (DACVIM Nutrition or ACVN), or you have a small animal internal medicine, dermatology, or gastroenterology background with nutrition work behind it - You are comfortable with NRC 2006, the AAFCO nutrient profiles, and NASC structure and function claim rules - You read primary literature and are willing to tell us a dose is not supported, or that a claim is a stretch Not a fit: copywriters, marketing consultants, badge and endorsement services TERMS - Confidential. We will send an NDA before releasing the formulation package. - This is an independent review, not an endorsement. We will not use your name or credentials in marketing without a separate written agreement, negotiated after the review. - The posted budget is a starting point. Tell us how you would scope this and what you would charge. - US-based reviewers preferred. No agencies. Generic proposals will not be read. We read every proposal that answers these.
